ok well I'd like to hear from funkymonkey or a CAU representative before I post any prices. Incase they want to buy a whole bunch and resell them or if they've already got something arranged.

No offense but f**k THAT.

I vote no money making to be made from the cefiro community. It's too small and really if SAU or anyone else wants to make money from a few stickers for PROFIT then they can go and eat a dick quite frankly. Plus it's not a club in itself. I've already paid my dues with SAU NSW membership.

Paying for the time or design or materials etc is more than fair off course but I hardly think $10 a sticker is fair. 3 stickers for $10 is probably closer to fair.

P.S. If the prices are shit I have a mate who'll make em for free or cheap and I'll be posting em out for the price of materials (if my mate charges me) and postage - off course if you don't want to donate the design then we can't use that in this case.

whats your problem with me Tom?

I was saying that because its not right to make stickers for someone elses website without their permission, Even tho its promoting the site its a fair call to ask them if they'd like to flog them to make some money back to pay their server fees and stuff.

Also, this is my day job, im freelancing design, and I'm not some tafe wanna be, I have my certificate IV, Advanced Diploma and a Bachelor in Communication Design, and like everybody else I gotta make a living and I dont work for free, I went out of my way to design and make a decent sticker and you expect me to sell them for peanuts. I wouldnt expect you to work for free so why should I?.

Ive PMed funky monkey and will await his answer before anything happens.

Damn funkymunky the sneaky gaijin hasn't been online since the 11th.. :O I'm geussing this is the hold up?

Ooh and I want T-shirts too :P

I dont see why there is a hold up. He doesnt 'own' anything and neither does anyone else!

Prank on here may be a better person to contact as the domain is regd by him. By wearing the stickers arnt we doing sau/cau a favour by promoting?

Why would they have a problem.....

    • So, they admitted via message that they accidentally sent me a non Hella product. Then, hilariously, out of nowhere I get questioned about the legitimacy of my BMW intercooler for sale. This is the first *ever* enquiry in over 18 months. WIthin 8 mins of me telling "Total Engines" that I'd be reporting them for selling knock off's.
    • I don't know what it is supposed to look like, but I'd suggest confirming with Hella whether it is genuine. Some of the photos online do show parts with a Hella stamp on them. This looks sus.
    • Couldn't help but share the pics of my $350 "Hella" oil level sensor that arrived from totalengines via eBay today. It's like they're not even trying anymore ... And I think that's sad.
    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
