I have tighter then normal power steering and a slight leak well as far as i can tell it might juist be oil i spilled last change can any body tell me how to do it . and also I have a blown ac compressor it seems to be hard to get its a dvk 14d deisel kiki, does any body know were i can get one or if there is a suitable compressor with the same lines

to bleed power steer mate all u have to do is fill the resivoir (spelling) with fluid and loosen off a hose shightly so it leaks a little then start the car and turn the wheel a LITTLE both ways a few times and turn the car off then tighten hose up etc....its good to have a rag to catch the oil as it sprays out too......this is how we do it at work ..... 90% of the time as soon as u drive the car even the first time it bleeds automaticly cause oil goes all through the system...... i may be wrong but this is what i have done ...... dunno if that helps.... ring a few importers and a/c placed about the compressor dude.....Jon

WHITE R32......Would you mind PMing me the name of your workshop......so I can ensure I never go there.

To my Knowledge to bleed the power steering you need to have the front wheels clear of the ground, fill the reservoir start the engine and whilst idleing turn the steering wheel slowly lock to lock until you get no bubbles of air in the reservoir, top up if needed and that's it.

Is wheels off the ground necessary? I've got a grinding pump and just doing up all hose connections before bleeding to make sure there is no leaks that are introducing air into the system...

Do you need to loosen any hoses when you are bleeding as suggested above?

just jack the car up so the front wheels are off the ground. (Makes it easier and doesnt leave marks in the driveway:))

You dont need to crack a hose, just fill the reservior up and leave open. Then turn the steering wheel full left to right watching for bubbles to come out. Keep going till bubbles stop..Keep topping fluid up as it goes down though.

    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
