Just been down there (drive-ins) and the frequency for the movie tomoz night is FM 90.9 Mhz.

My Jap radio goes from 76-90Mhz, and Aus freq. Expander goes from 94-108Mhz... GGGGRRRRRRRR! - Portable Radio for ME! :P

If you're in the same boat as me... got a Jap stereo still in your car, sit in someone elses car... park next to someone with a good system and get them to turn there's up... bring a portal radio... or sit in silence!

Just thought I'd let everyone know... I hope this doesn't change ppls minds about coming... if it does... buy a FORD you knobs!

i thought that was the other field?

oh well... park next to the ppl with the big systems and leave ya window open

:)

The Aus frequency converters are dodgy then...cause our FM band ranges from 88-108Mhz [megahertz] so you will miss out on other broadcasts too - like 89.9, 90.5, 91.5 etc...

I changed my JAP unit over 2 weeks after buying the car to a locally bought pie-on-ear - partly cause of radio freq's...so I now have the full range [88-108]... unfortunately I aint going to the cruise / meet / drive ins... ah well

lol rub it in dale

i brought my whole system about 6 months before i got my car lol

still havent installed it all :P

got a 1200w 4channel amp in my closet.... a pair of 300w 6x9s also in my closet... mind u ive got a cooler sitting here also thats been here for about 3 months and ive owned for 7 haha

*pulls out a pic of dale on a table top in a gay strip bar*

well i found this... it fell out of ur car when we went to that cruise at pit lane in albert park.

:P:D

jk ur bf gave it to me to post up on every chat room i could fine

JK!!!

well there is a set of king cobras i havent used for over a year and a half... few old PCs.... some old basketball cards.... my rear seat.... and lots of other crap :D

ud have to be a tool if u left ur car off all night while the stereo was going... start it up every half an hour for 10mins.... i do it all the time.

inasnt im sure if it goes well we can organise another one.

I actually went down there *it is the question that drives us neo* I wasn't sure if my stereo would work or not... it doesn't!

Just went out and bought batteries for a portable CD/Rad/Cass I have... SH|T batteries are expensive these days!!!:P

Oh well what came you do?

I don't want to replace the stereo as i don't really listen to radio (this is the first problem I've had with it)... no to mention it is a double-din CD/MD/Radio (all fed through the head-unit) + it has CD AND MD stacker controllers!

tell me... what can you buy in Australia to compete... don't say MP3 player as i don't wish to scroll through 156 songs on the one CD to find the one i want!

cyas tonight

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
