For sale: Brand New Brembo Brakes and Discs to suit.

Item Condition: Brand New Never Used, Discs are second hand and with no measurable wear.

Price and price conditions: $2200 PRICE DROP $2000

Extra Info: The Disc's are Ap Monster Bell Discs, They measure up at 315mmx 28mm. They will need hats to suit your application. The brembo's are brand new never used with semi-metalic pads. The pads along cost me $450 and the Discs came in at $500. The Brembo's come new at $3200 for a pair. You do the maths!

These are the biggest brakes you can fit under 17 Inch Wheels! :shock:

STANDARD R33 GTR rotors and STANDARD GTR Brembo's are 324mm x 30mm and easily fit in 95% of 17" rims.

I have seen 345mm rotors fit inside 17" rims, but rim choice is very limited.

I've seen bigger too, i know these callipers take upto 330mm that said these just fit under my 17" Simmons.

Different callipers have different dimensions, these callipers have approx, 25-30 mm from disc edge to edge of calliper which limits the disc size. Wilwood for example make callipers which have a 7mm from disc egde. And you can use huge discs with them.

Have a closer look at the pics, exspecially the pics with the calliper on the disc. Notice the distance off the disc the calliper sits at. This is what i'm talking about.

Braking power refers to the combination of the combined size of the calliper 'pots', the radius at which they act at, effective capacity of the disc to disperse heat and the compound of the disc and pads, and a couple more factors such as pedal ratio, booster size etc etc. Not just disc size which is a common misconception.

When stating "Bigest brakes you can use on a 17" wheel" the combination of the above factors are what i was refering too, perhaps i should have been clearer.

The discs on this setup are used to their maximum potential, the full cross area of the pad is utilized with little or close to no wasted disc, Lower rotational mass etc. Alluminum hats will certainly add to this.

Not too sure what you are trying to say, but i still stay with my previous comments.

These calipers look very similar to a R33 GTR Brembo, in size, style and appearance (not colour, unless painted). So to say they are the biggest, is a fulse announcement.

Have you compaired these brakes to a R33 GTR Brembo package?

Yeah the front piston is 4mm larger than that of the r33 gtr brembo package.

Basically above i was tring to say in a roundabout way that with these callipers these are the bigest discs i could fit under a 17" rim. It may be possible to squeeze 324mm out of it but you'ld hav to check with whatever rim your using etc. etc. As these callipers are larger than stock r33 gtr ones by quite a bit.

V8 super cars run 17"!!! and i have a mate that runs 8 piston brembos with 17" wheels, just be carful when you make claims like you have, That you now what you are talking about

because they are lug mount, they might be very difficult to fit to a skyline without buggering around with brackets...

if they were radial mount it would be heaps easier

Must have missed your question, No idea what they are off, purchasd for a custom job and the discs/piston sizing. Have been told they are the same as the porches but the pistion sizes are larger.

So no idea, yes radial mount would be easier for you guys with skylines but a set of custom brackets cost bugger all, 2-300 at most if that.
