I had a mate lose a few of my mags and this was one of them The mag was released about about 6-12 months ago.

It had 0-100 times etc..I think they got the r33gtst at 7.1sec saying it was a bit slower than others they had tested.

I wanted to keep this article for down the track etc.

Can anyone do a nice quality scan or something for me..if that is not too hard to get.

Cheers

Im pretty sure ive got that one ... i'll have a look and let you know ... from memory i think they said the skyline was a better pick =)

They say something about the Z having a better motor but a non responsive spahgetti chasis or something like that ... r33 was much more fun to drive =D

end rant

No worries ...

Yup ... im happy with my line

With 0-100 times unless you flat change every gear ... most stock lines will be close to that time ...

They thrash f**k out of the cars they get those times out of ...

I'll have a look tomorrow for that mag man ive got to search through a six foot high stack lol (<--- not looking forward to that lol)

I reckon ive spent $1500 ~ $2k on magazines man (<--- thats a high flow or something lol ... )

Yeah I have a bit wrapped in magazines also.

Re. the 0-100 times. Thats why rexys do so well. After driving a few of them they dont feel nearly as quick as the figures. Roll on acceleration the R33 and almost a commodore would probably beat them.

You have to dial in 6k rpm and dump the clutch to go well.

How the f**k do you get traction when dumping the clutch at 6000rpm, mines stock and if i did that i just wheelspin and bounce off the rev limiter. And no the tyres aren't shit, toyo proxes.

I think he is reffering to the WRX. :(

    • How many of you guys run the synchro os giken set and at what power? Do you then also use the billet plate?  How is it launching with it, any dragy times from 0-60? 60ft?
    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
