hey guys,

Was fitting lowered springs onto my R33 gtst series 2 the other day and while changing the springs the front shocks leaked a huge amount of oil of a sudden, they never caused a problem. anyway there obviously stuffed now and the car handles like a boat,

any idea if R33 GTR shocks would fit as a replacement?

any help would be appreciated.

the fronts do, the rears dont...rears have different lower mounts.

so as GTRgeoff said.

NO

I only need replacement front shocks, as the fronts leaked bad and now dont do anything in terms of absorbing anything,

so fronts of a ## GTR definately fit R33 gtst?

Yes they will “fit” as in bolt on. But an R33GTR is around 180 kgs heavier than a R33GTST over the front wheels and as a result have different spring rates and heights. Plus the damper rates will be wrong.

So they will “fit”, but they won’t “work” properly.

:( cheers :(

thanx, im after the front shocker only as a replacement fo the time being....

But as Charlie found the fronts are too short for an R34 GTt. Sure these will be long enough for the 25t SK? I was told they'd fit the GTt too but now, unless I see with mine own eyes I won't confirm they do.
