they're really not that much more expensive than the ones you buy at autobarn...$14 for 2...so $7 each or $10 for 1... not much difference :D

yeah ur right...just bought 5 x white and 5 x blue for both cars...should be fine. My issue is the directional light from the LEDS...this should help even it out..

nice...I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered. looks like it will be good.

and a picture of mine using normal style led's...note the brighter spots...the bits that look dull are pretty much as bright as a normal cluster, they just look duller because of the brighter spots...

i need some1 to help me with this ;)

Its VERY easy to do mate.

take out the cluster, flip it round, take out the 5 stock lights and plug in some parker style LED's

put it back in and you're done :)

wowo good results with the new style leds. The other pics resemble efforts I have done before and I just went back to globes cos it pissed me off too much. Should get mine this week and I will take a pic. I got white and blue...blue for the line and white for the FTO as I have blue/red dials...will look awsome.

Changed mine from regular LED's to the ones from America today...no bright/dull spots. completely even across the cluster.

Only downside to them is they are a Slightly lighter blue to the ones I had in there, which matched my gauges/headunit perfectly...but the new ones aren't far off :D

Photos: These are the American LED's

Nice even spread. :)

compared to the old normal LED's in the same dash...

and here's the new ones showing the slight color difference to my gauges

Not very noticeable :D

nice1 dezz...yeah I took a pic and mine look they same as yours but in real life I rekcon they looks better.

At least ur guages are blue...mine matched the stock lighting color...so i have to change them now :D

pretty sure its not the LED's kon. mine were like $14 for 2 (so hardly cheaper than yours)...

its the layout of the light spreading plastic on the back of the cluster

so it was the low quality LED's u had in before?

so it was the low quality LED's u had in before?

i wouldnt call them low quality. just a different layout.

justin had everyday single Narva brand LED's and i had a different brand with a triple LED layout on the top.

both showed exactly the same light spread...the ones from america have a better design

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
