hey dudez of almighty wisdom....need your help.

my autometer boost guage is not reading what it should. i run 14psi and my guage reads at 10-11psi MAX.

i have a question, my boosty gauge is hooked up to where the stock one is (in teh engine bay,i didnt put it there), is this the cause of it reading too low? if it is, where abouts do they wire them to?

thans for your help.

cheers

jabba

how did the dyno guys get the reading?

they may have gotten the reading from before the intercooler, which means 1 of 2 things.

1. your cooler restricts a lot of air

2. your gauge is cactus.

try borrowing somes just to plug in and see what it reads.

ok cool

ive had two dyno runs

1. with teh old boost controller, which was at 12psi,

2. with the new boost controller, which is at 14psi (i turned it up)

reason why ive had two was to rectify a leaning out issue, and had a newe fuel pump installed.

so possibly the gauge is f**ked. not even a year old :(

ill have a shot with someone elses gauge.

dun think the cooler is restricting tho....but i dunno.

thanks mate
