English To Japanese, Write Something In Japanese

I would like to get a couple of words writen in Japanese, I've tried on the net but can't get my computer to display the characters (only get squares & lines ) can anyone help me out?

I have the same problem...my computer frequently gives me a popup asking me if I want to install the Japanese character pack, but I can't find my windows CD so I can't do it. So, mate, you'll need your windows CD, but unless it does the popup thing telling you how, i can't help you with the rest.
