A Couple Of Power Fc Questions

Hiya, I've recently got a HC for my PowerFC and have a few noob Q's.

1. Where abouts can I apply a rev limit e.g. when leaving the car at a garage?

2. I'd like to extend the cable, I recall something could be done with a PS2 cable?

3. What is the difference between Ignition Timing Leadin & Trailing?
