New Turbo

Hey guys

I'm looking into a turbo up grade just for the bit extra I want to get to around 220-250rwkw

I am running stock turbo,3"turbo back, fmic 600'300''76.. and high flow pump. everything else stock (as far as I no) just wanted to get a few ideas and ruff prices??

I've been lookin at a kkr 430 but don't know if there any good. is this a good choice?

For 220-250rwk i would definately go a highflow turbo. Looks stock, complete bolt-on, quick spool time, and will get that power no problem.

GCG will set you back 1600 for a ball bearing unit(check the groupbuy section)

Slide of the forums can do you one for just under $900 with journal bearings

if u wanna upgrade power u will have to make sure u upgrade ur fuel system

eg injectors and pump before a new turbo and then a tune

the kkr units are a poor choice

plain bearing, oil cooled only

these are more suitable choices

By the time you've spent the money fitting a kkr430 turbo, it will be the same cost as a GCG hiflow, with the GCG hiflow being the much better turbo.
