Omori Mech Oil Pressure Guage Needle Vibrates.

hi

got the omori mechanical oil pressure guage, it reads pressure between 2 at hot idle and 7 at cold high rpm

but the needle vibrates like its getting small pressure pulses, it vibrates about 1mm at the needle tip at all pressures probly more noticeable when hot.

it wasnt hooked up when i got the car and is now connected to a port in the remote oil filter.

I had to make the fitting because it was missing, I might be answering my own question here, the fitting i made has no restrictor, i remember the mech guage i had on my old eh had a really small hole in the fitting possibly to stop pulsation from the oil pump

Im a bit concerned I read on here that a cracked oil pump gear will cause pulsing oil pressure.
