Update : FINALLY found a R34 coupe ;) but will not be ready for a couple or months due to lack of funds :P

I recently finished a batch of "corner" gauge pods for the R33 (See thread SAU THREAD). Check out the thread and my Trader Rating for comments.

I have also finished the design for the S13 Silvia/180SX/Onevia/Sileighty. Now it is time to turn to the R32 & R34 Skylines. I need some interest from R32/R34 drivers people who are willing to purchase these pods. These gauge pods will be similar to the R33 & S13 design (pics available on my webspace HERE)

I only need approx 8 people interested in each pod type to make fabrication of a small batch viable.

Final product will be available through www.JustSR.com which will include undercoat and painting of the pod in matt black.

Group Buy / Interest Expressons will stop when I get 8 people for each pod type, or end of Nov.

The pod designs for the R32 & R34 have been completed. See pics below. Please reply, email or PM me for interest.

Each pod will accept up to a max of 60mm gauge diameter and 40mm depth.

i'll take a 32 one also

what size gauges does it take? i need a 60mm one

thanks

As stated in my 2nd post above, the pods will fit a gauge up to 60mm. I'll note you and nuffsaid down for one each.

So far, I have 4 people interested in the R32 pod and 2 for the R34 pod. Keep the PM's/posts coming!

I just found out that the 4 door versions are slightly different to the 2 door versions, and the pod I have made for the R32 is for 2 door one and the pod for the R34 is for a 4 door.

So I now want to source a R34 2 door to loan for a weekend to design a pod for that model. If you are in Perth and interested in getting a free gauge pod for you R34 2 door, please contact me ASAP.

have u guys designed one for the 34 coupe yet?

id so give u my car but im in melb

Not as yet. I have a R34 sedan pod, but unfortunately I'm finding in hard to get an R34 coupe to loan to design a pod for it. I usually borrow cars from Autoworx (here in Perth) but they won't have an R34 coupes for a month or more.

Has ANYONE in Perth got an R34 coupe that I could use for a weekend?? It will be securely stored and will not be driven.

PM Wogboy, his in Perth and has an R34 Coupe. I'm pretty sure he'll be interested.

Mistake there. Wogboy is located in Tassie! Anyone else know someone with an R34 coupe in Perth?

To date, I still am at a loss that I can't find someone with a R34 coupe in Perth. So instead I've been making gauge pod prototypes for the S14, S15, Stagea to 'pass the time'.

Anyone who offers to lend me their R34 coupe will receive a free gauge pod or $80 cash for their generosity.

Single pods for all cars (including R32 coupe) are $79 + postage ($5-$7). The R32 coupe pod and a few other designs are being sent off to the fabricators next week are are expected to be available around end of January.

    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
    • I checked spark on all cylinders and they all visually have spark with the plug pulled and grounded, but plug 1 is the only one that fouled. This was a running swap that blew up and was rebuilt by a machine shop, put a new wiring specialties harness and did all gaskets, studs, and bolts while it was out.  compression is 135-150 across all cylinders. Aside from that from my understanding with the z32 ecu and maf the car should start regardless. The wiring for TPS and the dual 02 sensor/ dual knock sensor stuff shouldn’t actually stop the car from starting or even running well, (just slightly rich)  they just give fault codes. Car supposedly is supposed to start as long as you have z32 afm and ecu with the nistune base map and that’s info coming from a well known and trusted tuner who does a lot with SR/RB (Rsenthalpy). After more trouble shooting today where I’m at right now is that the cas is sending signal to the injectors they click while spinning the rotor, Fuel pressure is now set at 43psi, all cylinders have good compression and all of the plugs looked great (just wet with fuel) except for cylinder 1 which was very black (cylinder 1 has 150psi compression). all of the coils generate spark if pulled out and grounded out on the head. On the fuel pump car just pops into the exhaust. On starting fluid car will fire off. Hard to tell if all cylinders are firing off but definitley a couple. sounds like all of them but it’s only for 3-5 seconds hard to tell.
    • Final update!!! Got the front bar fitted and sprayed and all sorted now. My cutouts worked great and the indicators aren’t just falling off. 😂
    • Is this a brand new LSD? if so, have you followed any break/bed in procedure for it? Usually involves heaps of figure 8 patterns, a fluid flush.
