Ive brought through them both many times in large quantities.

There quality of products vary , but their new stuff in flexi glass is quite good.

I would reccomend you to buy through Avi at GFORCE as they are much more relaible and ship out next working day.

Speeddreamz on the other hand distribrute the same products but they tend to forget about orders or lie about how long things take to deliver, when they say 2 days think 2 weeks. THere workers also have no clue of what there doing.

Buy through Gforce mate, ive had no problems with them.

If your in Melbourne i can get you the same item at the same price as them.

Tai

yep everyone I ask has the same problem with speed dreamz

they emailed me saying 7 days transmit time to perth

but my mate says 70 days+ lol

so looks like I might try gforce...

or anyone know a good place to get vertex r32 front and rear bar from? sent to perth...

well on jap.com.au it says that speed dreamz is the WA dealer. so it seems as id have to deal with them and not from gforce? im kinda confused as someone told me gforce and speed dreamz have nothing to do with each other.. hrm.. postage would cost more from gforce aswell so i would have to go through speed dreamz yet they suck bigtime but i still want to buy a vertex kit

I was going to buy my kit from Gforce but after dealing with them I decided to go elsewhere. The guy who answered the phone was rather unpleasant. He was rude, unhelpful and didnt know shit about when he was getting the kits. Over a period of 2 weeks I rang up on the days he said it would arrive and every day it was "On its way". He hung up on me numerous times and was just a rude p**ck.

Also have heard that their kits are flex and dodgy Chinese knockoffs and that the quality is not so good. Being a flex kit they were not particularly durable. (This is just what I was told by numerous others).

Ended up getting a custom made fibreglass kit for a little more and needless to say I am stoked with the finished product. But thats no good since Im in Sydney

But all that said I have heard good things about Gforce and their kits so I guess its a matter of buying a kit and finding out

The owner of speeddreamz and Gforce are not the same company.

They both resell the same products from the head company in China.

Speeddreamz have very poor organisational skills and seem to scam everyone.

The guy at GFORCE is abit of a prick, but you will get the item.

What i can say is their products are much better than those made by (Fibre creations) sold by VIVAGARAGE and MOTORKITZ etc.

I would disagree,

do you really think your going to get a full kit at 650$ and it be a geat fitting kit?

I've seen these kits personaly and read emails and pm's sent to me by you guys. I dont want to get into trouble here but these kits are rubbish, enough said.

If you choose to save a few dollers on the kit now, expect to pay good money to have the kit fixed and fitted.

You cannot go worng with www.teamjetspeed.com.au .

Sorry for the double post mods

no offence but I have heard some pretty bad things about Jetspeed as well, both with the quality of their work and their kits. IMO any of these places that sells off the shelf copies is no better than the other, the quality is probably going to be very similar.

I agree with (Silent), most of the kits are crap quality, but it really depends on the molds.

And nowadays clients aren't willing to pay $1,000+ for a kit because these chinese kits keep undercutting prices.

Go Jetspeed Syd, DMD or makspeed for quality gear.

i have personally dealt with AVI from GFORCE bodykits - if you would like to know about my experience shoot me a PM

all i can say is i should have forked out the extra money to get a proper kit

can anyone confirm that both speed dreamz and g force get their products from the same company?

avi at gforce is okay...neutral decision on that case..replies pretty quick to email etc, delivery takes slightly longer than ETA...

there also use to be a guy on firesport..trading as.'extreme kits' ..cant seem to find him any longer..located in the west side of melb. he seemed to be ok, though havnt dealt with him.

i guess, http://www.psiparts.com.au is the most recent ive found out to get kits from.

ergo, there are many places to get kits from...everyone has different experineces with different companies and whilst giving your feedback may assist someone from getting a great kit for a great price, this may not always work out. so dont be disappointed if you dont get the same quality or service as stated in the above posts.

cheers

    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
    • Here's the chart for fuel pressure vs. current draw, assuming your base fuel pressure is 3 bar and you run like 0.5bar boost on WOT, you should only momentarily hit 9amps here and there. (Ignore my prev post, I cannot read a chart these days it seems)
    • Those comp test results are not hideous. Whether they are accurate or not (ie, when that comp tester says 140 psi, is the real pressure120, 140 or 160?) is unknown to us. The state of the battery used to crank it over is unknown, etc etc. Many people around here would say that the absolute values and the spread are perfectly fine to just add boost and keep going. I personally would be happier with a narrower spread than that, but even the diff between 125 and 145 is not terrible. That one cylinder at 125 though, has probably copped some damage relative to the others. You should inspect the valves seeing as you've got it open. Do you know how to measure installed ring gaps? That, and an inspection of the rings themselves, is how you will determine whether they need to be replaced. If you're not good to do these things, take the block and the pistons and rings to a shop that is, and ask them for the go/no-go on them. Do the bores need a hone at all? If so, you might well be justified in getting some different pistons in order to get away from the ring supply problem. Whether you're happy to spend a lot more money right now, on more gear, rather than less money, but an amount that looks stupid given that you will only get a handful of rings in exchange for that money, is for you to decide.
    • also possibly backed up to my filler and shat down it! 🤣
    • Ok so i would love some advice here please, i purchased an R33 a few months back and its had a few mods done to the engine, its an RB25det running a Master ECU, 1200cc injectors, bigger turbo, oil cooler, oil filter relocation kit, Spool H-beam rods, acl/ross pistons. When i removed the motor from the vehicle (as its getting a respray) i thought i would compression test it and these are the following results. Cylinder 1-145psi, Cylinder 2-143psi, Cylinder 3-125psi, Cylinder 4-145psi, Cylinder 5-140psi, Cylinder 6-135psi this test was done with the motor on the ground and powering up the starter motor. I dropped the sump and found broken oil squirters on cylinder 3,5 and 6. I was told my rings are probably worn so i stripped the motor completely to get a new set of rings for it. The trouble is no one has these rings anywhere and they have to be custom made by Ross over in the states and will cost about $600+$200 delivery. My question is how can i tell if my rings are at fault and if they are still ok and is this price ok for a set of rings?
