46n2
I'm with Suncorp and I pay about 1300. Rating 1 (yes under 25) - but my car isn't worth anything near what a 34 GTT is worth... I think you'll find that the people getting quotes for approx $1000 drive vintage cars (like myself) 46n2 EDIT : changed 35 GTT to 34 GTT - don't blame me - I was drunk Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/14086-insurance-suncorp/page/2/#findComment-297217 Share on other sites
NismoGirl
I'm with Suncorp and I'm on a rating 4 and paying $2400 a year. I'm only allowed two mods on the car which is a bugger. But I'd rather have insurance than go fast bits. Everyone that I know that's with suncorp has some time of different rules to go with there premium. I don't know if it's because of age or rating or whatever, but I think it should be the same rules for every person. maxr33
R33 GTS-t Series 2, HKS FMIC, Blitz Pod, Cusco suspension, 3"turbo back zorst, aftermarket mags, aftermarket stereo. 31 years old rating 1 for life - Suncorp price = $580. The trick - live in North Qld! This puts me at 15 on their bulls**t points scheme but you're now allowed 28 (2 months ago I was told that I was at the max limit). I rang Famous today and someone who obviously had no idea quoted me $2000 - 2200, Just cars were $1150. I was told that same car same driver in Sydney would be about $5000. They're all Fascists! Guest 382 GZV - 4 Door R33
Hey pear man - try Famous 1300 88 60 29 I'm with Just Cars - they quoted $4800 for full comp (which I didn't get) NSW guys were talking on another thread about famous and how good they were so I called and they quoted $3300 so I reckon you should be able to get it for <$1300. kik-ass
My quote from suncorp when I lived near Cairns-FNQ was under $500!! 26 y.o rating 1. Now that I live on the sunnie coast it's still under $900 although that is through a broker, not direct. I am allowed cosmetic mods but no go-fast mods Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/14086-insurance-suncorp/page/2/#findComment-304806 Share on other sites

Suncorp....Rating 4, Northside Brissy, No finance, no mods (?)..... $1600 They told me that their system will give different quotes every day. kik-ass
There is ways around mods, I have a mate who works for a broker, he convinced his insurer that he needed his extractors and full exhaust system because he needed the extra power to tow a trailer! They believed him and no extra charge. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/14086-insurance-suncorp/page/2/#findComment-306815 Share on other sites
Guest 382 GZV - 4 Door R33
haha...that's funny. I think I need the 'zorst, pod, autronic and front mount cost I pull my caravan around on the holidays and I need the mods to stop the car overheating. :-) Don't think that would work with Just Cars Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/14086-insurance-suncorp/page/2/#findComment-307883 Share on other sites
