Running very low boost? Good?

I found out I can run 2psi on my AVC-R.

Is this safe to do?

I'm not worried about the turbo, rather the engine.

the only thing i canthink of is weird A/F ratio's.... but if you have the PFC maybe it would change all that to compensate.

It would be very non responsive.....

do a little run set up like that and see what it does. If it doesn't like it, no doubt the computer will stop you from doing any damage...

I'm running 5 psi in the rain now and it's good.

Less squirming under acceleration. I'll try 2psi and see how dog slow it is.

I think it would the same as if your running off boost. The ratios are caculated by the airflow meter, so it can only adjust it self to what it see's..on or off boost.

2psi in the wet would be safe...but if your worried about the RB25DET (I assume this is what you have ?) holding boost below 10psi...then you have a problem...their designed for it....
