THIS CRUISE IS BEING MOVED TO EARLY NEW YEAR. WILL POST UP A NEW DATE IN THE NEXT WEEK OR 3.

Thanks

Hey Guys and Girls had such a great time on the central coast cruise so its time for another cruise at the end of the November.

This time we are going to do a run out to Wollombi Pub out near Broke for lunch and a good old chin wag, this will encompass a route that will pick up the people interested from the central coast so I’ll discuss a meeting point with the CC pplz and go from there.

If people have any suggestions for meet up locations for the central coast or Newcastle if current doesn’t suit and anything else then please let me know. The last cruise we went on the central coast cruise was a really great day - so make sure you let any skyline owners who do not check SAU regularly know that this is event is on too.

Hope to see as many people as possible should be a great day

Tinks and DJ Brave are in in innnnnnnnnn!!!!!

Coasties can prolly meet at the northbound Caltex on the F3 for this one Luke. I'll see what they all wanna do and let you know.

BRING ON THE JUNGLE JUICE!!!

We organised a cruise out there a few months ago but you guys will freak when you see the roads out there, they are so bad. We got to to outskirts of Cessnock and they were dirt tracks. So we cancelled it.

I'm so not taking my car out there, I cant afford a 3rd respray

????????????????????????????

We only came across one very small section of dirt road up there - it was about 500m tops and was just dirt, not rocks or anything - we just rolled over it and kept going... there wasn't any other dirt roads...???

GTsauRus knows all those roads out there - he was the lead car when we went and it was all roller coaster, wide, open, nice roads - a few bumps here and there but nothing you wouldn't get in the suburbs... no onw's cars were damaged or filthy dirty (apart from a little rain!).

Maybe we should consult GTsauRus on this one - THE FARSHER!!!!!

PS - Brett: bring both cars!!! Your dad has never come with us! goooooooo onnnnnnnnnn!!!

Most of the roads around Cessnock / Pokolbin are fine, never had any problems! ...depends how far out of Cessnock ur going i guess - but iv never seen too may dirt roads or really rough roads around there- and they are definately not main roads!

No need to panic everyone! :(

We were planning on going up to the wine places for the cruise and went and checked them out and the roads were tradgic. If you guys have been there then I'll take your word on it.....

What roads are you planning on taking BLACK WARRIOR ?

From what I recall - the roads werent that bad couple of years ago and I did it in my VT Gen3 - handled pretty good, although a week before a club member did roll it.....so some parts can be bad!

Oh I didn't realise it was going to be Pokolbin way.... Those roads are fkin terrible. Im not going if its out there either! :(

i roads at the arse end of cessnock arn't the best, but saying that there not the worst road its very driveable, plus theres a awsome road just out the back or wollombi towards lagoona nice and twisty and from wot i can remeber there pretty smooth and ALLWAYS damp:) ill be in 4sure plus maybe another 33gtr.

(awsome food there by the way!!!)

I will be goin down the hwy to meet cc coast guys at central mangrove then we will head inland we will not be on the putty as such we will then head north up to wollombi, there are no dirt roads and the roads are fine and a lot of fun stop being such a bunch of wimps :(. no loose gravel or anythin.

u wont need any resprays have done this road plenty of times with no hickups roads are very good fine for everyone!

Me and Pete (brizzi.. just for you chong) maybe in depending on roads. A map would be good first though..

Brizzi"s cars bak on the road so we will cruise in his my baby can hav a rest for this one..

Come on Newy people the roads aren't that bad anymore..

Krissy..

    • Hmm yeah that is a good point. It looks like it'll just bolt in with no real issue besides maybe the bushings being different. My other concern was that 2 pin plug that I assume is used in some way to control the rack solenoid depending on the speed signal from the ecu. The DMAX rack doesn't even have that plug though so, don't think it'll matter. Might just order the rack and see how it goes. Will update this when I figure something out
    • I'd say it's a fair bet that the feed and return fluid lines will be in different enough spots that you would need to come up with a way to cut the originals short and adapt with new hard line adaption or braided teflon hoses or somesuch. But really, you have the car, you have the photos of the DMAX rack - you should be able to go out there and see for yourself whether they're in the same or different spots.
    • I've been doing some looking around and honestly was just considering throwing a new rack at it. I saw that the dmax silvia rack bolts up into the 33 with the silvia bushings but not sure if the high pressure lines will sit in the correct spot. I believe other version of the 33 rack are the same/similar to the racks that can be opened up without as much fuss so I assume the dmax rack would fit but any ideas?
    • I've never played with one, but I would expect that you are correct. That slot looks like it is intended to be used to unscrew the end, and the flats on the body would be better than grabbing it around the round bit with a pipe wrench. So, yeah, probably unscrews. You'll probably have to make a tool to drive in that slot.
    • A bit late but A disk S13P fit over stock R32 GTR brakes, usually A disk front, O disk rear works.
