These wheels are VERY light !!

( Some of the wheels will need some minor / better paint touch-ups in the wheel nut area than what I did if you're really anal :) No gutter rash on any wheels and they are all straight & true. :) )

No they do not have any poofy center caps. :(

WORTH MENTIONING: These wheels have all the data markings required for them to be eligable for Engineering Approval ( unlike many wheels out there now ). No hassles from the cops !!

ALL SOLD

Here's some pics showing how they fit on my 32 GTS-T.....

and here's what they looked like on my 34 ( they fill the gaurds on the 34 much the same as on the 32 ).

Are these for sale or not?

THE DO'S AND DONT'S OF THE SAU CLASSIFIEDS!

1. When starting a new thread, you must include a set price, or at the very least a ballpark figure that you are looking for. EOI's are not permitted,

If they do have all the data markings what are the exact offsets? They should be on the sticker or stamped on the inside of the wheels. Also, is there anywhere that says its forged? As there is a cast version of the exact model as well...

Cheers.

My bad. I'll change the original post to reflect an "Upcoming Sale" as opposed to a EOI.

They will be for sale. I'm just waiting on a new set of 18" wheels to come in from SA so I can try them ( make sure they clear the calipers etc ) and then if the're all good, I'll be buying them, getting tyres, and slapping them on straight away. Then the 17's will be washed and ready for sale :)

If you can make any sense out of all this you'll have the answer for the rears :)

Oh and I didn't actually mean to put the word "Forged" in there. Was talking wheels at the time I originally posted these. The word "Forged" has been removed from original post :) G/F's right..... men can't do 2 things at once :)

Hmmm...ET +17 looks like it...the offsets more suited to GTR

Hmmm...ET +17 looks like it...the offsets more suited to GTR

Cheers for that. :D

Actually, all the wheels have the same ET 17 mark so I'm not sure what that means. The 8" ones have different makings from the 9" ones which I've updated in the first post.

I now have new wheels & tyres and these have been given a bath and are ready for a new home !!

Buy your baby some new shoes for xmas :P

Here they are...........

:)

Looks like I'll be pulling the tyres off the wheels and selling it all as odds & ends since thats what people seem to want. :pirate: Will re-post when everything is seperated.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm confused.

How much for the 4 x 17x9's? I am considering them for a track set for my GTR but without a definate offset I am a bit dubious about whether they'll fit over my calipers.

Oh, and in the first post you state the tyres are Toyo's, but in the pic you can cleary see 'Trampio' ... So which is it?

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
