Yeh, schoolies was the best. An entire week of drinking and s3x and beach! Sometimes all 3 at once  I would love to go again... but I don't think it's the same when you're legally allowed into clubs and to buy alcohol :P

hrm.... i've always wondered about this toolies thing....

what 'defines' a toolie?

is it anyone over the age of 17 on the goldcoast during these 2 weeks?

my schoolies was 5 or 6 years ago... yet i have been down there during schoolies probably 2 or 3 times since.... but to go clubbing etc, not to try and get into some 16-18 y/o chicks apartment... though i wouldn't be complaining if that did happen :woot:)

as long as she was 18 and not 16, otherwise you look sorta creepy. lol

i cant beleive it been 2 years since my schoolies, from the things that i remember (not alot) it still feels like yesterday. and the sumo suits were awesome. im heading down

Schoolies was great, it was hard getting alcohol back in the day. but now i detest anything schoolies related, its more of a pain in the arse especially for traffic. if you do want to drive into surfers make sure u have insurance.

Now you can't have double standards like that...

I had a great time at schoolies on the coast. We boozed up in the units then headed to the beach / streets... and you've got to expect that kids these days are no different. However, kids these days only want to destroy things and piss peope off which is what schoolies it turning into...

i just came back from schoolies today. it was pretty awesome

There were quite a few imports down there, especially this HOT R33 GTR that had an autosalon sticker on it.

But then i saw an R32 which had the boot hit with bottles and a dint in the LHS door. I felt quite sorry for the owner of that black 32, looks like it will be quite expensive to fix.

me and a few mates went for a cruise to the goldy tonight for something to do, i just got back, i havent been down in ages and there were some nice rides out, and broady wasnt to bad either. schoolies everywhere though, was a good perv that was about it though...

saw LXU55 down there allstaged up on the esplanade,

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
