Well.... that makes it all OK then doesn't it. :)

So once you have done an advanced driving course, it's OK to drag people on the streets and endanger innocent lives?

I'm sorry, but I don't care if you've done an advanced driving course or not, if you completed an advanced driving course, then why are you still treating other peoples lives with such blatant disregard?

(Not to mention that advanced driving courses are conducted under controlled conditions)

Spot on!

As for the Advance Driver Course, the one thing they hope you walk away with is an attitude conducive to better/safer driving, not car control.

i assure you i did not do this dangerously in anyway as i work for a motor company and have been on an advanced driving course.

Driving at anytime can be dangerous, and plenty of good people loose their lives or well being in simple/terrible car accidents. If your going to race on the street at least respect the fact that IT IS DANGEROUS!!!!!!!

... or are you saying you have better car control then Possum Bourne, and somehow can see into the future.

i dont think you can get a fine for the drag on calder man.

im pretty sure if u do u can contest it, cause she has no proof. unless u told her how fast u were goin. then its ur word against hers. u should of said u were doin about 110, and u werent too sure cause u were too busy looking at the guy who was "stalking you", you were afraid, life in danger etc... etc... bullshit.

just hope u dont get it.

R31 Skyline Chick...

I am sure that if we followed you around on a daily basis with a camera, filming your every move in your R31, we would see you breaking the law some-how as well.

Sorry to say this but you seem to be on some sought of HIGH HORSE in regards to your driving. Well I am sorry but I just don't believe it.

We are car enthusiasts and in my opinion I believe that the best place to drive our cars properly is on the track.

HOWEVER, that is not possible all the time, therefore if someone chooses to give their car a bit of a run once in a while, let them, that's why we bought them. It is not as if we are drink driving or driving under the influence of drugs etc...anyone who does that has s**t for brains.

In summing up, get your hand off it. (I in no way mean to offend)

... as you state, I'm an enthusiast... not a rev head.

I feel no desire to go around being a menace on public roads.

Follow me around with a camera if you must. :P

It is not as if we are drink driving or driving under the influence of drugs etc...anyone who does that has s**t for brains.

How is it any less dangerous to drive at high speeds on public roads?

Might as well be drunk, because at least when you kill someone you can say

"I'm sorry your honour, I was having an alcoholic blackout at the time of the accident, and I don't recall killing 2 entire families."

It sounds a lot better than

"I'm sorry your honour, I was just bored and had nothing better to do, so I thought I'd go and kill some people and blame it on the car."

:uh-huh:

That is a bit harsh and blown out of proportion. What I would call "Not spot on"

Have you had a bad experience with cars/accidents or something because I sence a bit of hostility?

I am an enthusiast and a rev-head...generalise me if you must.

I go to Willowbank and drag my Skyline because I like to do it. I don't however go out and drive over the speed limit because : "I am out hunting for 2 entire families to kill"

Again...calm down and re-read what you have been typing.

1)I do not condone any form of dangerous driving on public roads that puts innocent peoples lives at risk.

2)Every day you drive your car you put innocent lives at risk. Shit happens and that is life. Driving responsibly will always safe-guard you from accidents but will never fully protect you.

It is all a part of growing up, and mistakes are such for a reason, they teach lessons.

Part of growing up?

Maybe that's the problem....

I'm all grown up. :P

I've lost enough innocent mates to terrible road accidents.

I have zero tolerence for people being assholes on the road.

Public roads aren't for playing games.

If you want to be a terrorist, go to Iraq. :)

[edit]

I don't need to re-read what I've written, I'm well aware of how I sound, maybe when you lose some mates to someone elses stupidity, you may realise where I'm coming from.

Hopefully you won't need to lose anyone close to you before you realise what I'm talking about...

Maybe when you have children of your own, you might understand how precious life is.

Nobody is invincible.

    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
    • There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.
    • yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
    • Yes, well. Mine are less than half that. ARBs are not set to "dumb" either.
    • I would hope. But, we all know even the best companies have an issue sporadically.
