i had 2door cars b4 and ones in my life wanted to seat and watch back passngrs leaving the car without my help...

if 2 door - only gtr

i was looking for gtr 4door conversion but to much trouble

i know i will have a lot of fun with her and my bro a lot of work....lol (he loves it)

i choose a stock gtt to let him do the rest, i know it will be prefect.

lol

Hey not to get off topic but not all 4 door owners are chicks some of us got em cause they are da drift king of the 34's lol aka blitz...New pics of my ride going up in like 12 days once all my goodies arrive and are put on.

Oh man that looks good...

Also, I was actually looking for a 4 door myself but it proved impossible to find one with all the specs I was looking for (manual, black, all gauges etc), so when the right 2 door appeared I compromised

Christ that is one bombed out R34!!! Love the way sits.... it's the bees knees.

Btw, does anyone here know where to get an East Bear GTS-R badge like the one on the previous page?

These aint the same - and IMO would better suit a R33 - but in case you havent seen them:

available on this forum: http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66673

I was really after a badge like the one shown in my sig - these were available in another U.K forum but I just missed out and they have no plans to order more...

I am considering looking into getting some made (possibly a bit better if possible) a few months down the track.

They won't be cheap though (the ones in my sig worked out to approx. $45 each).

At the moment I am in the middle of moving interstate so its not quite on the top of my priorities right now though.

Thanks Wayne.. they look sweet, but after a GTS-R badge as even though I don't have the GTS-R East Bear kit, i am hoping to get a few more east bear items (already have the EB taillights and front splitter) and hopefully that'll qualify me to wear the badge... LOL or not

...

abu you're hurting my eyes man! Nismo LM-GT2 rims, nismo kit, nismo lights... fak that looks like a factory hottie.

Heres one for you Howie :)

I'l see if I can find any more good ones - I've got heaps at home but I'm at work at the moment so only have a small collection

Actually just one thing... this thread's for people's own R34's rather than images found elsewhere... there is however another thread in the gallery for general R34 pictures. Still cool pics tho mate.

ahhh.. yeh I actually own all these cars

Ok I'l leave you guys to it lol

hehe

Where is the other thread, now I need to repost all these pictures

Did you just delete some pix? I was gonna reply to one then couldnt find it lol.

Just wanted to say that light blue Autostyle GTR you posted is one of my all time favourite R34s... it is just about perfect in every way (unless you're a purist I guess).

It was featured on an Ignition DVD... just totally yum.

Yep I took them out and moved them all into another thread

Agree with you there, that AUTOSTYLE R34 is fkn awesome and is a daily driven car by the owner of Autostyle

The ignition video of it is awesome hey, I say it on youtube - what I also love about it is that it still uses a Apexi Power FC and virtually all the parts are Japanese brand items

Awesome car: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=3783891

    • What do you mean?  In between the two I shared?  They're the same boost   This will be insane.   A mate has a GTSt with a 9:1 RB30/25 with Tomei 256 cams and a Borg S362SX-E that is already a beast from the basement but has a stock 5 speed and will probably get a ZF8 one day.  After the G35 900 RB26 setup I'd be lying if the topic of "Wtf would a divided G35 be like on this thing?" idea hadn't come up - you'd definitely want a wide boost control range setup with it, as even with the less responsive and potent S361 we're having to ramp boost in from very low levels in the early gears.
    • ZF8 is faster, wider ratio spread, better in every way. I do not dispute this. But I have brain damage and I want the feeling of shifting gears. To me the extra work is fun, but I daily an automatic and in the US like 90+% of cars are automatic so a manual transmission is an "exotic" experience. If I want an automatic I've driven an F80 M3 with DCT more than a few times and it's incredibly capable but it's emotionally vacant to me.
    • Different folks for different folks I guess - for me, the 6MT > ZF8 claim is wild.  If I had a manual Skyline I'd be saving up fix that with a ZF8.  I went for a M135i, has the N55 which resolves a lot of the issues the N54 has, it already has the ZF8, is barely heavier than an R34 GTt, full boost before 2000rpm while also being real-word-faster than my old 280kw @ hubs R33 GTS25t and doing absolutely everything better.  There's nothing I'd change on it to be more like my old Skyline, tbh... it doesn't sound the same but it's got it's own awesome sound - definitely not worse.   To be fair I can't argue with most of those points.  I guess i was pointing it out as a comparison for a Skyline GTR and it's much closer all around there, like the weight difference between an M240i and an R34 GT-R isn't that much etc.   As above, I ended up getting an M135i which is in the 1400kg range - the M140 and M240is that you can get up till 2018 are B58, ZF8, RWD and in the 1400kg range which is a bit of fun... but doesn't fit the tyre etc of the Supra.  They are a run drive, though- maybe no an A90 Supra but a huge upgrade over a Skyline "sporty chassis" wise.
    • Im loving this thread. I have a g35/900 t4 split 1.00 ar going on my rb30/25 with 9:1 and 264 cams. its drive by wire and with vct i think it should spool nicely. I have the 8speed gearbox on the floor ready to go on so full boost changes will be a thing if the tyres can deal with it. it should always be on boost
    • The trouble for me is the automatic takes away so much from it. And the E92 has hydraulic power steering. Even after putting in an LSD you're looking at re-mapping the xDrive to be more like a Skyline which is just a lot of effort for something that is supposed to be easier and cheaper. I consider the E92 335i 6MT to basically be the obviously superior car to something like an R34 GTT. Half the price out here, the N54 makes so much more power so easily, is a far more refined car, etc. You do have to deal with the nightmare of the N54's foibles vs the B58 which is comparatively miles better and if a turbo does fail it's only one of them vs two and a lot less pipe spaghetti.  996 or 997 Turbo has the AWD system mapped like a Skyline. Basically always RWD unless engaging the front axle makes sense. A coworker let me drive his 997.2 Turbo 6MT and it's absolutely tremendous. I don't think I'd want more power in a street car.
