Dosn't matter what scene you are in there are always people who either take it too far or are just too selfish to realise how thier actions effect other people. It has always been like this and will always be like this. As for the media, let them be. I and I think most people take what certain current affair programs portray with a grain of salt.

you will also find alot of them do it illegally, simply because it is illegal.

I used to go shred tyres and do some doughnuts ... although always late at night in industrial areas where it was me and a few friends, and they were all nowhere near the cars

things like this have always happened, as time goes on it will just get harder and harder. And its impossible to stereo type any group. You will find most people with highly modified anything will not thrash the crap out of their car on the st, nor have anything to prove at lights, this be in import/ford/holden scene, or anything.

its more those retards with an exhaust and thats it that think they have the best car ever ...

like always, the only way to change things, is to immediatly take licences off these ppl, or make it impossible for them to drive anything but a 4 cylnder, fines for the drivers and the dealers/people that sell the cars to them otherwise.

Plus far better driver education.

your dead on there. I mean young men will always be young men, Heck even looking back now at what seems an eternity (24 now) I think its a thing that comes with age that you at one time you do stupid shit and think now how can i prevent a little idiot like i was from killing me or someone else thus bringing more shit down upon owners of nice cars, the answer is really i dont know. Education and giving younger ppl especially maybe boys in their last years of high school an opportunity (free by vic roads etc..) to take their cars to skid pans and get some of it out as well as seeing videos and smashed up cars.

as for the previous comments of media well they are a lost cause now, i mean who honestly watches tv news anymore and believes a word of it? australian news media has become a joke and is to closely resembling that of brit tabloids and the shit that comes from the us.

our biggest concern is a relationship with police that shows we are co-operating, and just enjoying ourselves and our cars, things like not abusing them at meets and showing respect get you a long way. i like the sticker idea and also liason between the cops etc.. they are the ones on the streets who actually enfore the laws not ma and pa kettle sitting in their living room complaining of everything. i think they also are a lost cause.

i am rambling now but after losing close friends in car crashes (normal every day stuff non hoon related) i must say that it makes you take a different view of things.

so be careful.

p.s excuse my shit english i have lived in Österreich (Austria) for the last year and have forgotten how to write a decent f**king coherent piece.

    • I didn't think about how a circle works before, dumb.  Before, I had .9mm restrictor bolts but I can't use these cause they were shorter aluminium bolts that just tear off their threads when tightening since the OEM lines are thicker than the shitty braided one that was installed previously. Now I use longer 1mm stainless steel restrictor bolts. I think the difference will not affect the health of the turbos, but I guess I'll have to drill out the main feed bolt as I agree multiple restrictions sound dodgy. The one that was installed with the braided line was just too short, but completely without a restrictive hole.
    • Tomei or Nitto, don't use the OEM one or Cosmetic ☺️
    • After cleaning up a rusty cooling system in a 33 gtst that's been sitting for years it seems to have cleaned out the head gasket too haha. It seems the Tomei metal gasket works without machining surfaces? Or put oem? Also should put an oil restrictor while the head is off? Thanks
    • Thanks, I definitely saw the more expensive options from Crank and driveshaft shop. Thank you for the D-max option.  Still hopeful someone has an OEM out of the box option I found that the 300zx NA Left drive shaft is a good match for the Right on the R33. https://www.gsplatinamerica.com/product/ncv53040 Just need to find Left CV for the R33, I cannot find any <=22" axles.
