Hey guys, just bought myself another head unit so theres no need for this one no more. Its a great hu, folds down to ur choice with a bright screen displaying your choice of animations along with your basic settings for your sub-woofer if in use, speaker settings, equalizer and so on. Pretty much the basic mp3/wma player for your needs. Comes with 6 rca outputs, 2 for front speakers, 2 for rear and 2 for sub-woofer.

You can either have the face down with the screen showing or you can have it closed and still have the music going. Also de-tachable face along with a case provided with sale.

Asking price, $200 neg.

nah mate, its like 1 model down, based with the same features apart from the colour screen and it can connect an ipod i think. But everything else is pretty much the same. Id know, my dads got the DEH-P9650MP, and when i go through his settings n shit, its like goin through mine. So ur basically gettin the same thing except its like a blue screen instead of colour.

    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
    • I don't understand what the issue is with, turn the boost down and start saving $$.  As soon as you can afford the supporting mods, turn the boost back up.  If the car is running fine, enjoy it. Turning the boost down isn't going to kill you.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
