Ignition Module

hey guys sorry been off the forums for a while been flat out with work.

today when i went to start the car to go for a nice drive it would not start,

crancking the car over results in a high pitch alarm like sound, i suspect its the ignition module can anyone confirm.

secondly i tried cleaning the connections etc no luck same result.

so does anyone have one i can buy and chuck on to enjoy my car on the weekend, any alternatives to the ignition module (aftermarket?)

a review has focused the problem to be from my mechanics viewpoint the starter motor. it screeches as its stuck in something

Didn't sound ignition module to me, not if the car wasn't even cranking. Sounds like you're on track now

I take it youved checked the battery! sounds familiar. LOL

ah mate youd think with a 300 dollar boat battery i wouldnt have a prob but apparently it now seems to be battery.... anyone got jumper leads?
