Battery Light

Hey Peoples,

I am having a little dilema with my R34.

My Battery light is staying on. I have checked all fuses and none of them are blown, my battery voltage guage is staying put on 16v. It doesn't change a bit when turning headlights on/off.

I have continuity from the Alternator - Fuse - Battery +

My multimeter is playing up so I couldn't get an accurate voltage reading, but the ohms is working ok.

What sort of voltage should I be getting at the 2 pin connector that goes to the regulator?

I drove the vehicle for roughly 2 hours with the light on, and it started fine, no change in voltage reading.

Anyone have any ideas / suggestions?

try the consult default code link, its here somewhere, search, the computer give a fault by flashing a light so many times, it goes somewhere along the line of turn it on and pump the brake 3 times and turn the wheel, but its not that.

Ok I found that the Horn fuse was missing which is some how related to the charging circuit, so replaced and the warning lamp has gone!

whoa, that's pretty strange isn't it. You learn something new everyday.

I remember when I first got my car, I didn't know what the fuse box label said. Just to make sure every fuse was good, I checked every single one. lol
