whats happened to all the people who said theyd be in the NSW Members Thread?

Again come on guys.... try something different, this will be my first time at drifting and the good thing is you wont be worrying about hitting pedestrians/gutteres/power poles.

Stephen,

re: all the guys who posted in nsw members thread - I sent about 95% of those members a PM, and they either had no money or the car was off the road, or didnt reply....

ahh man..... sucks... how convinient for it to be during this time

i think this day will go well apart from the numbers gotta get the skyline presence strong in all types of motorsports.

oh yeah... saw the vid of ur clover drift.... very nice...u gotta give me some pointers on the day

I have attended a similar drift practice day once before and can vouch that it is a stack of fun in a safe environment. Where else do you get do do massive power slides and smoke up a good set of tyres? Even on track days you are not allowed to drive like this. Not only is it fun but it is a great learning experience.

chris do u have a linked vid of the clover leaf skid pan??i want to see.

changed the engine (castrol edge sport) & gearbox oil (penrite 10 tenths).and also fuel filter.just waiting for the shim to arrive so i can pull diff and do the oil...

Im rolling no front bar come drift day.i try to steer clear of leaving the track souvenir's as they cost to much and i dont want the tourists going home with the koalas.

ok thats it,,,

im definately in! will transfer money tomorrow, send off membership forms for sau and cams licence...

car is almost sorted but should have it sorted and on the dyno before the day......

Add me officially to the list :) Definately not missing it!

got a whole set of 32 rims and 33 rims half with tyres, off to the tyre shop to get some more crapola tyres...

im wondering if i should go all out and get swaybars fitted before the day? my coilovers are pretty stiff so dunno if ill bother...hmmmm

I'll be drifting on standard Nissan suspension, so I'm sure your set up will be great with or without the sway bars.

ill just crank the back down for some more neg camber, and better roll centre hahahaha

stock suspension goes hard drifting!

ive got some 2yo rubber that should smoke good! and hopefully a mate bringing a suby wagon down i can load up with all my shit....

even better

adam, ill send that membership form off tonight, transfer the money and do cams registration tomorrow morning... its all coming together....

nice!

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
