yes it is.

Get under the drivers side dash on your back and have a feel around. You will see the pin that goes through the clutch pedal.

You need to remove this then adjust the fork accordingly.

Have a fiddle. Good learning experience to get your hands dirty. :P

As Cubes said it is possible and pretty easy to do so.

Shouldn't have to get on your back either (unless thats your cup of tea :( ) should be able to see the clip while kneeling beside the car.

I got a fair bit of adjustment out of mine after i replaced my last clutch (also have to reweld the clutch pedal  ) from one too many clutch kicks :P

Be patient with adjusting it though to get the point that you desire, it took me about 20mins to get it right :(

you guys are the best...

it feels sweet now, a lil dead spot at the top but the bite point is reight where i want it..

i noticed that after adjusting, the clutch stopper(sensor) that connects with the clutch pedal when all the way out, was a lil bit off, thus the clutch pedal wasn't fully coming to a rest on the stopper and putting a lil stress on the master cylinder... a lil adjustment fixed this

Glad you got it sorted old kid and its to your liking again.

Sorry i didn't get your PM earlier :)

Be gentle with this one so it lasts :)

didnt know you could adjust this. Where do you guys set it at?

I was thinking about 30-35% up front the ground?

you need to take into account that as the clutch wears the take up point will move closer to the top (away from the floor) so don't adjust it right up if it has some wear already.

and I've got no idea of how to get at it without lying on your back it was a prick of a job. someone who knows the easy way is welcome to come and do it next time :)

sweet i have been wanting to do this for a while but didnt think it was possible

will try tomorrow

Cheers

i used long bent ended plyers to turn the tread on the clutch fork as the fork itself cannot turn as it is still inline with the clutch pedal, even after taking the pin out... if this helps

    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)

    • Why are you so adamant on going M12? Why not follow Brad (GTSBoy) suggestion. You're talking moving from a 1/8" size, to a 1/2" effectively. 4 times bigger. Why skip the commonly available sizes in between? The bigger you go, the more likely you are to strip the threads out at a later date, as guaranteed, someone will put a huge spanner on the M12 and really tighten it up, and you're only in thin wall, so not a lot of threads to engage!
    • Hi. Yeah thanks. Car is already at tuners and it staying there to resolve "many" issues they do not like. So it is in a good hands. Getting a good tune on that Nistune ECU too so the car would be good. Just needs a little tune up and love.
    • Probably gonna remove manifold and turbo. I’m not sure if I can get M12 x 1.5 air tight. Could use high temp Loctite 246 or something similar, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s just best to remove everything again and weld an 1/8NPT on there instead.
