Wierd... Very Wierd

Hey all,

I have a problem at the moment that i can't put my finger on.

3 weeks after i purchased my 98 Series 2 Skyline, i installed a clarion dual din (unsure of model) in to it to replace the factory player which did not work. Installed fine and everything works great, on screen visualisations / eq all work, etc etc. The problem being, after approximately an hour and a half after turning the car off, all my presets, eq settings and headunit clock all reset, as if it were just installed..

All wiring is correct, i haven't mixed up the IGN and 12+ wires up, the clock next to the steering column is functional and doesn't reset. Its got me absolutely boggled as to why this is happening.

Has anyone had similar problems?

ARE YOU SURE you didnt swap the wires?? does it have TWO yellow wires? (the upper clarion units have one for the amp and one for teh unit.)
