Hi all,

I have an old C210 Skyline I was planning on doing up for my little brothers first car. I just haven't had the time to work on it and he is fast approaching his P's test this year and needs to get some driving in. We have decided to cut our losses with the money we have spent on it and sell up. I have no idea how much they are worth, but I would like to see atleast $500 for it. I got it off my cousin who purchased it off a little old lady who I believe had her sice day one!

Good points:

- The engine kicks over everytime and drives beautifully!

- New plugs, leads, air filter, oil/oil filter, washer bottle etc

- All electrics work apart from one of the electric windows

- I have brand new rear struts for it, I havent had the time to put them in but obviously you can take them

- Auto trans works a treat

- Interior is in one piece, there are a few little stains on the carpet, but that is to be expected for a car of this age

Bad points:

- There is a few dings in it, again, its an old car!

- One elec window doesn't work

- The AC doesn't work, there is no belt connected to the compressor and it seems to be seized

- Brakes need attention, they pull up, but wont lock up. I have bled front and rear which has helped a little.

Only pics I have at the moment are off my phone, but I will try to race home straight away this arvo and take some of the car itself and the bad points on it.

Thanks!

I like...

How good is the interior, especially the seats and the boot? It's an all black interior Im guessing from the pic. Is the front bumper damaged, or is it just a funny reflection? Finally, is there any rego left on her?

Thanks!

Drew

Hi,

Unfortunately it is not an all black interior, however the seats are in excellent condition. It has no rego, last rego'd in July 05.

Here are a bucket load more pics I raced out early this morning and took! Sorry I couldn't get any up earlier, we just got accepted on our first house so we have been quite busy lately!

Oh and BTW, it needs to be gone before I move other wise I'll be a dead man! ;)

    • Yeah I understand you have to pay for an updated map or subscription service or something. But I can't even find a current map for Australia. My map is dated 2017, but didn't this car version still sell in Australia until 2021?   Also, just as an aside, the navigation system warns you of traffic incidences ahead.....why would they include that on a map they knew is not receiving live information. I am forever going to be warned of an incident that probably existed for 30 minutes 8 years ago.

    • sensible choice....and all 32s should be in yellow
    • Run it in open loop for now, and drop the frequency down. This lowers the resolution and requires more duty cycle to do anything, however good to troubleshoot.
    • According to Josh, one of our local Americans, it seems the USA still can't get turbo systems quite right at a lot of places, so possible that they're not running great at all, but they've just not complained as NFI about getting it right...
