Thats right folks, all JDM cars are welcome!

You DON'T need a cage, or anything else the JDM Racing class uses, just a car that is manufactured in Japan to be able to compete!

Your general road registerd JDM car is elligable. :worship:

This is the ultimate starting point for all aspiring "Grip" racers!

Everyone needs just a simple AASA Clubman licence (which is your normal drift licence) which is only $55 per annum, or for a one off event only $20.

The first of these JDM regularity events is on this weekend! So if "you haven't got your cage done, or dont have a racing seat" don't miss out on the action, come join the JDM regularity!

The cost is only $199 for two days of track action which gives you a total of a :

- 15 minute qualifying

- 3 x 20 minute regularity runs.

What is a regularity I hear you ask? Answers simple, a regularity is designed for vehicles that dont confirm to racing spec. IE: cages etc etc. It gives people a chance to sample real circut racing conditions without the pressure of racing. Basically its you against the clock. The winner of these events is the person who comes nearest to there qualifying time, every lap! On track passing does occur, but essentially you are not really racing anyone except for yourself and the clock!

There great fun, and as I mentioned, it is without doubt the best way to initiate yourself with "Grip" racing.

The first one's on this weekend, and understandably this is late notice, as QR has just come up with this new JDM ragularity concept, so a special offer is:

For anyone who enters tommorow, will get to enter at the "early bird" rate of only $149! This is exceptional value!

So snap too it, no excuses, get onto www.queenslandraceway.com.au and download an entry form and send it off now!

Hope to see a few utilise this great new concept.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
