Roof Liner

Im bout to remove my roof liner ready for a full new paint job , Iv searched but no luck on removing it and relining it any idea's if its hard and possible.

I imagine it's much the same as it is for any other car.

Remove all the ceiling hardware and interior trims that cover it, undo the clips and pull the lining off.

You have to remove your sun visors, rear vision mirror, centre light, and grab rails. Then u undo the seatbelt mount and unclip the pillar plastics.

Then there are a few small clips holding in the lining. Be careful not to bend the roof lining as its made out of this foam stuff that breaks very easily.

im taking my roof lining off my R33...

got everything undone it was fairly straight forward,

except for the rear vision mirror.

Can anyone give me any tips on how to remove this?

Im sure i hade to pull the plastic cap off to get to the screws

Just wondering how you guys actually got it OUT of the car once you took it off? as apparently it breaks if you bend it? has anyone tried getting it out of a 2-door?

To remove it from the car, give it a slight bend and take it out through the passenger door.
