Not sure if all the new SA guys here are aware of the SA section of the forum - its where cruises are normally organised and other events etc.

Anyway there's a skyline cruise tonight (friday 25/5/07) - below is a link to the original thread. stageas welcome :(

Not a huge one but not small either, should be good fun for anyone wanting to come for a nice drive...

If you're not sure what it'll be like, SAU cruises are usually pretty orderly and generally there are no lunatic drivers or anyone doing stupid stuff...so dont feel like you'd be cruising with a bunch of speed-happy hoons...its not like that at all :D

I'm kinda hoping mine wont be the only stagea there so feel free to come along, would be great to meet some of the more recent Adelaide stagea owners.

also, tangles, hope u can make it too :(

damn it dude, sorry

havent been on sau since last wednesday. wifey had wrist surgery so Im mrmom atm.

was pretty well pooped by friday night  say it, Im weak !

ok, "you're wea-" nah its fine really!! :D

was pretty cool but a lot of people had trouble following the directions, so there was about 3 separate mini-cruises, with a lot of us just making our own way to mt barker. Some people claimed to have seen a speed camera, although most of us didn't see one (i'm pretty definite there wasn't one), and then there were cops at mt barker that showed up in the car park (must have been after I'd gone home), but didn't cause any trouble so everyone was happy

Coming onto the freeway on the way home, my car started pinging a little bit (just the one time) as I booted it up to the 110km/h speed limit. Was 11 degrees outside so I'd say it either spiked or was a bit too lean...was tuned on a 35deg day and I know for certain my stock intercooler struggles a little on hot days or after driving for a while...

Need to have a stagea only cruise sometime...almost enough of us in SA now... :domokun:

    • thanks for the advice on the box... i was thinking the 6 speed was better for cruising on the highway but on closer inspection and comparison the Rb 5 speed box was not too different...  So the choice is going to be the RB25 box... if I can save up and find one at the right price
    • Thanks Matt, yes that's what i am aiming for. Just going to apply the right voltage and grounds to the dash connector. Hence my search for these pins... any chance you know if these pins are in the same spot as the ones on the S15 Dash connector? as mentioned above on page 8?
    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
    • wedding eh.....I seem to get to more funerals than weddings or christenings these days....
