i want to put music videos on so do i just burn a dvd as if it were a data cd?. or is there some other way to do it? i heard about using nervision incase my tv doesnt play divx/mpeg4 or whatever? ive tried to burn a dvd with nerovision but it didnt work even on my home dvd player lol.

i got a ipod video 30gb the other day as well and i have all the necessary cables but it seems that the ipod doesnt even load alot of the video's i got :)

anyone got some insight on how to do it?

mpeg 1

that is all...

get a converter if you need to, google yasa avi to mpg or something like that... yasa, thats all you need...

burn it as data on the dvd, it will save space...

also, read what types of videos it can play...

with the video iPod, what are you using to convert the videos? I just bought one for my gf, highly recommend 3GP converter to convert videos.

As for your VRX766VD, most likely you will need to convert whatever files you have to DVD. I don't think burning them as a data DVD will work as the deck (probably) doesn't have the necessary decoders (someone correct me if I'm wrong).Take a look at the following link, also shows how convert AVIs, MPEGs, DIVX, etc files to DVD, and there's a specific guide for Nero Vision about 1/3 down the page...

like i said, dvd players prefer mpeg1 codec, so you can burn that as a data disk... if it says on the box it can take avi then thats fine too, if it does NOT clearly state that, then you will have to convert them...

    • So we need to get together, design a new ECU, that can be mounted elsewhere, leave all the "factory" sensors "in-place", and then any it's not using, when it detects them unplugged, throw a CEL.   Yeah, probably too much effort these days for a Skyline...

All and all thanks guys...i just want to know if and if not if that "custom" one would be ok for my use :-)
