Sk's Suspension Group Buy

Recommended Posts

So, I went for a blast in the car tonight, up and down black mountain and mount ainslie (twice).

Holy f**king Shit. My car sticks oh so much like glue now, it ooozes confidence in a corner. I figured i'd have a fairly different beast to drive, but this was just ridiculous.

I had a friend come for a ride and he simply couldn't believe the sheer amount of grip i had (he drives a WRX, slightly modded).

This was just SK's Bush kit (the lot, camber, caster front, subframe and 2x camber rears). Roughness of the car hasn't really changed, But its so much tighter now.

Unbelievable.

Highly, HIGHLY recommended. Best $800 i've spent on a car, ever.

So - there appears to be a reasonable amount of satisfaction in the outcome achieved from having the 'kit' ftted.

Understatement.

Interesting to see after you've tightened it up :P

how much is it to get fitted, so this is just bushes???

Couldn't really tell you, Ask Marc2. I had a ton of other work done as well.

And yes, all i had done was the Bushes (bushes were about $800)

bushes are pretty good value. theyr a C U Next Tueday to change though.

I redid all the bushes in the datsun before i changed all the suspenion over and the amount of flex you shed just from having things sits tight in there spot rather then flex and jiggle around is phenominal. I used Nolathane bushes.

2nd best value thing to do to suspension is bushes.

best value is sway bars by miles.

I fitted the full kit to my 33 about a month ago. Marc2 did the bushes and wheel alignment. I went the whole hogg, shocks, springs, adjustable sway bars and all the bushes in the group buy. Also fitted a front strut brace and HICAS bar. It completely transformed the cars handling. I love it. Like nsanity said, highly recommend it. Also saved about $700 just on parts alone.
