Hi Jason,

Drifting is still fresh over here. You may want to do some runs here when there is a competition and mostly, that is done from march to Sept.

Hey how is your conversion going. U said you will log all the process and take some pics. I got into a problem with my wiring.

Let me know if you have something.

THanks!

Here is a not so detailed work on my car. Sorry, I forgot to post it after I was done with it as I've been busy with work but here it is....http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2439676/4

I'm part Filo lol.

Yep fair few guys and gals who are in the import scene here.

Everything from skylines to evo's and even magnas with GTO twin turbo conversions.

Oh wow...now I feel at home in this forum...hahaha. :laughing-smiley-014:

Haha your driveway looks so "filo"!

you should have broken bits of glass on the top of your concrete wall, rather than the pot plants hahaha

i'll be going back in Feb...can't wait!

...nice car by the way!

Hahaha...only in the Philippines.

See you in March if you are staying here long. :D

...oh and how do u find driving a car with those rims and bodykit on such poor quality roads?

The roads here are mostly good and in concrete but just a little bumpy from the construction. The car can still manage it though I just have to choose where I am going.

coming along quite nicely dude.....buuuut...something has come to my attention, where has your chrome grille gone????

an another quick question, what size rims what size tires buddy??

Edited by TAKUSHI
Howd you go about painting the front grille? Im thinking bout doing the same, but not sure on how to achieve such a beautiful look! hehe.

I never did anything to the grille. It is still the way it is when I purchased it. I just try to keep the plastic scratch free all the time.

Hi. I have my chrome grille in storage and I use it once in awhile depending on my mood.

The front rims I have is 17x8, +5 offset and the rear is 17x9,+10 offset. Tires I use are 215x45x17 all around so the rears are pretty stretched.

I have a new set of wheels mounted to the car and I have yet to take new pics of it. Currently, I am using Rota Torques with a 17x9.5 all around, paired to 215x45's. The bodykit I have are already painted so maybe I will take new pics again and post it next week.

Thanks.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
