1997 R33 Series II

HI all, I am reluctantly selling my GTS-T and looking for an R34 or other car.

I have had it since 2000, and spent ages looking (and paying extra) for 1 with log books in terrific condition. So;

62,500 kms (log booked from Japan)

Silver metallic

Hitech 3" cat back exhaust, which is quiet at 60km but growls nicely at high revs !

ABS

2 x air bags

17" R34 rims

passive arming alarm

tinted windows

slightly lowered in front (2cm?)

Skyline floor mats

I have always used motul fully sythetic oils, its garaged at night. It looks pretty good after a wash :) , but doesnt draw too much attention.

Location Nth beaches Sydney

Asking $25,990

Call me on 0421 380 053

Hi sydneykid - yep I have left it at the long term a few times - always at the end of a row (LOL) cos I dont need the door dings from crummydore repmobiles flinging their doors open

A.D.I.D.A.S. (damn get an easier tag to type please!) only other mod is a boost-up to 10psi using an Autospeed wastegate/controller. Gives much more punch out of corners without risk of overboosting.

Yeah, I must say Ned, it looks great, i perved long and hard at it around Bus Stop E last month while waiting for the bus to work... The wheels definately look great on it too, one of the tidiest I have seen.

S of S

MRK25T - no I cant say i've seen you - but if the car is moving its always hard to notice the wheels, but I have seen another SII in silver which always catches my eye.

Sydneykid - thanks for the comments, I reckon it looks pretty good, but I am still waiting for the phone to ring !!

MRK25T - did you just take a run along a twisty rd near the national park sunday afternoon?.

I just had a concerned friend stop by to check that my car wasnt stolen as the person driving "my car" didnt respond to them flashing their lights. :bahaha:

    • I've never played with one, but I would expect that you are correct. That slot looks like it is intended to be used to unscrew the end, and the flats on the body would be better than grabbing it around the round bit with a pipe wrench. So, yeah, probably unscrews. You'll probably have to make a tool to drive in that slot.
    • A bit late but A disk S13P fit over stock R32 GTR brakes, usually A disk front, O disk rear works.
    • Or, the height of the release bearing is not correct for your combo. Start with the bleeding and checking the slave moves throughout its range when you press the pedal (2 person required), but it is possible for the height to be internally wrong too (box back off to measure.
    • Yes, there's quite a few things that can go wrong during a clutch install. Very unlikely. I have a similar clutch. They (ACS) make good gear. No, it is not normal. It is possible that you just need to bleed the clutch slave. But the new clutch will also have a more aggressive actuation force/pressure, and so your old slave cylinder might be a bit leaky or otherwise compromised, and not up to the extra force required. Or the master cylinder, same.
    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
