My 98 R34 has dun 40,000kms but that very low really. 70,000kms is good, fair amount for the year and type of car.

I was also in this predicament a little while ago, either a 34 25GT or a GTT. Both auto.

Let me say, the auto is magic, i was VERY reluctant to get an auto GTT but the tiptronis is far beta than i thort and brings power on much much better than using nrml auto mode.

Good luck searching buddy

Thanks for the advice,

Nice S14 u got there =)

Did u get the GTT in the end? Hows the cost of maintenance for it? Im very apprehensive in getting a turbo cos this will be my daily driver and i dont think my gf can drive one on her P's.

Also, hows the reliability of the Tiptronic box? Any issues or known problems with it?

Cheers

Hi there, I just pick up this little black gem a 1999 4 door R34 GT-V 5speed manual NON Turbo with 50500 k's on the clock, its in very good condition paid 20K for her, she's an absolute pleasure to drive. One very happy Skyline owner!

i paid 14500 for mine about a year ago. stock non turbo automatic, nothing major wrong with it, centre console paint is starting to fall apart thats about it. I've heard this happens a bit does anyone else know anything about it or fixes? They are great for a daily driver auto is good in traffic.

Negatives - people trying to race u just cause u have a skyline, getting shit for owning an n/a skyline (lucky mrs drives ours)

I wish i had held out a little longer and got a GTT manual, i would go for a drive in both first because it won't be long till you crave more power, i'm probly gonna drop a half cut in mine, if u get the an n/a for the right price at least you could do that in the future when your off your P's

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
