Hey Forum I just want a bit of information from you and I am thanking you in advance for it. I decided to go with the gt2860rs on my r33 gtr. Are they direct bolt on? Which turbine a/r should I go with the .64 or .86, will both get me to around 500hp with room to improve as I strengthen the engine? I am leaning towards the .86 for that higher hp, if the .86 is just as responsive I will go with that for that higher hp even if it is a little more laggy than the .64 but not by too much cause it needs to be good enuff for the streets. So which would you suggest and yes I have read the sticky's but there is no comment on a/r sizes so I want the opinion of the guys in the forum. That's it thank you once again.

you'd have noticeably more lag with the .86's

but what price big power eh?

Is it more lag like bummer I made a mistake or lag that you can deal with until boost? Would it be that much of a difference in lag going from .64 to .86?

Have a look in the RB26 Upgrade section for some dyno curves of actual performance.

For a street car I would go for the -5 , 0.64 (and have done). These setups with appropriate fuel and support mods have gone better than 500hp and still keep realistic on the road.

The bigger housing will almost certainly be laggier but have the potential to give more up top (in a rush).

Cheers
