Battery Charging

hey does anyone know how long i need to charge my battery before its ready to go back on my r34. i left one of my ceiling lights on and it killed the battery. bought a charger 3.5amp and had battery on charge for 12 hours, pulled it off to give it a buzz and still nothing ?

yeah sounds like your battery is dead, can't remember how many amps my charger is but usually 12hrs will charge the battery.

I agree with everyone else. Dead battery. The more you flatten your battery, the less charge it's going to hold the next round.

I've charge a 4door auto s2 skyline battery recently and it took me 2 DAYS for a FULL CHARGE (Base on the LED indicator from the charger). The charger is 2200ma (no idea what it represent).

If you have a multimeter, test the voltage across the battery. Is it over 12 volts? If not keep charging.

Most battery chargers have a LED that indicates if the battery is charged. Mine took about a day to charge, it was down to 2 volts before i charged it. (My car had been sitting there not being driven for 4 weeks.)
