Guys this car has absolutely everything done to it with very very low genuine kms, near new engine, compared to other cars its a steal for the power and the mods im open to offers need this car gone hint hint.....

OMFG I can't believe there hasn't been more interest on this bad boy!!

Look guys this car is fantastic, looks great and goes like the clappers! I'm sure Dan has paperwork for the engine build and everything else he has bought for it just recently!! as stated before the car has everything done and ready to roll.........

SO BUY IT.......LOL

thanks daz hopefully someone comes to there sense soon, theres been cars with similar power outputs for same money but they either dont have a freshly rebuilt motor or they look stock as and have more kms.

Mate ...I would buy it in a heartbeat!

I'm all cashed up too ...but I'm in Perth WA ...and I'm wondering if I'll EVER get this baby through the pits here!!!?????

What do you reckon to my chances? ...have you got any engineering certs for the work done?

This is my first foray into Jap Imports after being a Ford man for years ...man, I LOVE this car!

Can you post up any more pics of the boot and engine bay?

ANY ADVICE ON MY CHANCES OF CLEARING PIT INSPECTION AND REGO HERE IN WA WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED GUYS!!!!!!

Call me on 0404 701 035 mate.

Cheers, MARK

Hey mate,

I have no idea i have enquired for qld and all i would have to do is plumb back the screamer which is a 2 min job. It all depends if they look at mods ask in the wa section. If its just the usual brakes, lights etc etc it will pass no worries at all. I dont have engineering certs for it, but in saying that all work has been professionally done and is neat at as. Just have a look at the angine bay below. I will get some pics of the boot for you tonight, basically just a 2 12" subs takes up the boot. I have no worries at all with helping out with shipping ie dropping at a transport yard etc.

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
