Well here are a few videos and photos of my day out on the Saturday afternoon skid pan session.

The number one thing i realised you rwd cars have it easy :) my r33 gts-t i could drift around almost the whole thing using just the power/lack of grip it had... the forester hmmm well it didnt work as easily as that i used a fair whack of hand brake. I tried the clutch slapping (is that the term) but i felt it was a little to harsh on my poor car.

Either way had a great day and thanks to Derick and sorry again for the whole burnt finger :)

Also you will have to rename the .doc's to .avi to view the video. The first one's good the other two are sort of pointless.

    • Did you take the MX5 for a Blat around the Track at all?
    • LOL, "they said it might be slippery"..... 30 seconds in your off, 60 seconds in white twin backs into the corner That new track looks good, and the Datsun was chopping cars quite nicely
    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
