Is This Normal?

i just got my new clutch installed today for my r33 gtst.

its a exedy sports organic racing clutch, but it feels alittle softer compared to the sports tuff exedy heavy duty that i had in it. And the friction point is abit higher also.

is this normal?

im guessing that you might have a heavy duty cushion clutch performs the same just with a cushion spring to help with the tenion

Apparently the organic clutch is supposed to feel like a stock clutch with a tad bit more weight to it.

Sounds about right to me man.

you can adjust the peddal to get the friction point lower

u need a 12 mm and good set pliers

or take it back to who ever fitted it and they can adjust it

will take about 10 mins

Yeah it's right, all the exedy street clutches are surprisingly light on the foot. Only problem is from my experiences they never grip up when you dump the clutch .

no. im not a fan. but yeah. they change the pivot point in the clutch. you will probably find it takes up heaps high and releases heaps low?
