Nah, I didn't know they were coming up, so I missed 'em, lol...

Anything major coming up that you know of? I know we've got the Gravity Games over here again in November/Decemberish ... that should be a laugh.

You know/roll with many of the Sydney skaters?

when i was into it yeah.we still do

matt salerno,jon pollard,ian smith,kayd anderson,blake dennis,tom sampson,harley imber.cesar mora now and then.back in the day,there were a few crews a arround sydney.it was pretty good actually

these days rian arnold, luke barber, wade hardie, luke ???.some of the talent is really good in australia atm.

these days all of the OG skaters like myself,sk8 once every blue moon.

whats the hardest thing about rollerblading?

telling your mum your GAY!!!!!!!!

sorry had to say it! lol have fun

says the metro fag!! who sold out on his skyline and still lives on here.

When I was over (like 2001 lol) I was mainly skating with Igor, Tien, Ben and those guys... but met a lot of the other guys there to. Ian Brown was a champ.

If you see Tom say hi from Twisty, he was kind enough to let me crash at his place a few years ago and havn't talked to him in a long time.

Should real do another trip over East again now flights are so cheap.

Yeah man OG, I know that feeling... every time i see some kid 540 to a grind I feel like a true OG lol

lol @ metro fag... do a wheelie!

Hey Guys,

I was going to come to the North side dinner the other day to meet some of you guys (living in the northside myself), but shit hit the fan at work. Maybe the next one.

On a different note just wondering if there are any bladers around, who may be interested in a weekly/fortnightly meet for a bit of exercise (Sunday arvos possibly). I went to a path at Haberfield last week (Near the dog park there) and it was an awesome place to blade with nice smooth paths next to the water in the kanals there. ALso there was plenty of parking.

Being still new in town, if people have other spots in mind we can change destinations from time to time. I wouldn't recommend the Luna park side of Milson's Point as it was a pretty shit run, with board walk and more board walk, but Manly/Bondi should be good.

Anyway if you keen send me a pm with your email and we can do something this Sunday arvo (30th) say at 3pm.

Draen

hey Draen, if i lived in Sydney I'd be keen... I have my own blades and used to go a fair bit till I got lazy. I like the idea of flat smooth paths... not really into any fancy crap or tricks lol.. it's more for the fun & exercise :nyaanyaa:

I'm in Sydney a fair bit but stay down south and tend to get lost if I have to drive too far from there :yucky:

anyway good luck with it!

I think that Harley bloke went to my school. Blacktown Boys High

But he was a few years older.

I remember the only ramps was emerton spine ramp(but who'd go there)

blacktown pools(bit big)

& bondi had 2 ramps,i liked the little 1

all the bondi boys.yeah i hadnt seen igor in a while i dont know what he is up to.ben gets out every now and then.tien is at it harder than ever at last report.i think he has picked up a skate sponsor.

browny,i wouldnt have a clue what he does these days.

harley.yeah your right he did.i used to hang out with him allot.

there was also adam, ricky, morgan and anyone else we could muster up to go for a skate.

i have probably met you somewhere allong the line.

i have probably met both you and tristian somewhere allong the line.

hmm might be interested depending on when it is as i'm in sydney on and off... used to blade like crazy when i was a kid and grew up playin roller hockey on the street during ice hockey's off season. think i still have my old blades from when I was 16 in the garage somewhere.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
