Quick Question

Hey guys

Just a quick question. i was changing my oil this afternoon and the sump plug snapped in half wile removing it from the sump. i was able to get the rest of the plug out but now i dont have a plug.

I went to repco and Autobarn to get a replacement but they didnt have the exact one. Autobarn had a replacment but it was one with out the magnet. Would this be ok and where could i get the original one from. is nissan the only place.

a magnetic sump plug is just a gimmicky thing, it's supposed to attract metal particles to the bottom of the sump and keep your oil cleaner, not a necessity

you can get magnetic ones off ebay if you're really keen but personally I'd just get any plug from autobarn so I could drive again
