Hey Daniel, not really clear on your pic but your lip looks like it has 2 steps as opposed to 1 like mine.

I think yours are the LM style like these BBS LM Wheels

whereas mine might be called BBS RQ-R's (or something similar)

so , my best mate got a job with cirque de soleil and is going to Qld for 3 months or more , im gonna miss this bloke as he has been my best mate for soo many years

i plan to fly up there and party one weekend while he is there ,

should i buy and give him a bottle of jim beam and say hold onto this for when i come up and we can party ?

just as a good mate gesture sorta thing ?

whoo hooo just sold my boat big choice now spend the lot on my skyline or invest it ????????????........20 odd grand would buy some nice mods lol

Invest it around the home. Cars go down in value ... houses go up :D

... or just buy a 260RS!

house already paid for rube's but some landscaping wouldnt go astray im sure the mrs will find something that needs doing :-)

All comes down to 'needs' and 'wants'.

I want an RB26 powered Stagea right now ... but I need to do the house extensions on my place

There is always things around the house that need attention. If its something that your income can take care of (a minor expense) then don't waste the money from the boat. But if you got an inground pool (or whatever) in mind that is a high expense, now is the time to do it :D

Oh and Pete. If your selling your rims I would go for TE37s! Can vouch for how light they are as I have a pair of them in 18"

I'd get them in Bronze or black on the silver that'd look awesome. Go high offset over width though, really deep spoked 37's look the best.

Mitch, swap me. Heres my car! lower now with Cusco coilovers!

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
