Google-translate that shit! It has 1 owner, original k's with books/receipts for the dash change. Cleanest 32 GTR I've seen in a long time: http://www.kurumaerabi.com/?page=syousai&a...mp;stock_id=403

Google-translate that, too! Another clean as 32 GTR: http://wwww.kurumaerabi.com/?page=syousai&...mp;stock_id=348

And that's why I love 32 GTR's. F*cking porn: http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d88463104

stock turbo looses its efficientcy above 11-12psi anyway...no point going any higher.
i wouldn't agree with that

but running @ 14psi will shorten the life of your turbo

also note i couldnt find it before

but i didn't go against what you said just to be an asshat it is documented a RB25 turbo on a RB20 engine is quiet capable of 14-15psi this is why i believe on a RB25 engine it isnt running out of efficiency @ 13-14

The Rb25 turbo on an rb20... Push 14-15psi in to it, tune and you can expect ~190rwkw.

And they lag around the same as an rb30 with a gt35r 1.06 on its side. But obviously have stuff all torque off boost.

The best option for an rb20 is to slap a highflow on it and push as much boost as you can in to it; the little 2ltr needs all the help it can get to bring up that mid range power.

Have a look at some efficiency tables. People dont realise that it's not all about boost in alot of cases. A stock turbo works sooo much harder to produce 13-14psi than a much larger turbo. A smaller turbo working harder than a larger one has 10 times more heat than a slightly larger turbo on the same psi. Heat is the main cause for it's loss in efficiency. Heat is the main contributor for power loss. Heat is another contributor for detonation. Heat Heat Heat. 10-12 PSI is the effiency range for that sized turbo combination. It's been proven over and over and over again. It pays to spend time on all sorts of cars using different sized turbo's and watching power DIVE when you add any more HEAT and BOOST into a turbo that isn't efficient for those settings.

Also, you can't compare an rb25 turbo's efficiency on an RB20 because an RB20 if your unaware is a 2L. Being a 2L it has less stroke, less flow, less heat so therefore the effiencienfy range for that specific turbo goes up a tad. Efficiency can also be determined with front and rear housing not matching at a certain flow level. At 10-12psi the rear housing of the rb25 turbo is just large enough to not create surges caused by lack of flow in relation to how much the front housing is squeezing into the motor. Where as at 12psi and above, the front housing is flowing a tad too much volume for that tiny little rear housing to handle....sure it will cope, but it gets f**kn hot. Hense where the heat comes into play, in turn heatsoaking the front housing a whole lot more..taking efficiency away from the turbo. Another reason efficiency can be effected is because the front wheel of the compressor is designed to flow a certain amount of air at a certain speed. Just like a water pump, Behaving fairly simular, if you speed the front wheel up and the pitch of the front wheel is incorrect for speed it is turning, Just like a water pump it can cavitate the air and be useless. Hence why if you use the wrong pitch of the prop on a plane at the wrong speed then the plane will loose momentum. Once again the same with a water pump, if the impellor's pitch doesn't suit the speed it is turning at it will can cavitate and there for loose efficiency.

hahaha that's awesome...good find.

haha , i know

my mate just bought an n12 turbo this arvo with an exa front , ill find a pic of it in a sec but seeing as he lost his licence a couple of months ago

i was driving it around most of tonight haha, i rocked up to a mates place and pretended i sold my skyline and bought it , he was like WTF ,

funniest thing is its a 1.5 turbo haha

Madaz, great finds with those Skylines!! They're amazing! It's good to see that there's still quality in the Skyline market in Japan - and now with the R35 out, Skyline popularity (especially the 32 GTR's) have 'skyrocketed' again, bringing out some awesome ones!

Good ol' Koshi got on the hoon bagging band-wagon this morning at 7:10am... showing more NSW/Vic footage of VN's spinning the wheels, etc. Then started talking to a random cop about it. Then they showed a story of some P plater kid who had his VR impounded 4 times for hoon driving.

Then, I flicked it over to Channel 9 and they were running a interview with Angry Anderson about hoon driving and his thoughts on it, and then they showed interstate footage of burnouts, etc.

The media can't get enough of the hoon bashing shit!! There's a f**king war in the Gaza strip, and all they care about is speaking to VR-owning P platers about burnouts!

/endrant

For the record, I hate Koshi and Mel. They're too happy for that time of the morning and it pisses me off!

Hey people just wondering what you like about your skyline or skylines in general, and why you like them. I like them becaue of the sleek sporty look, realiability and the power
i like them because i live in adelaide and i drive a barina.

Lol what an awesome reply to that post...

    • Probably speedometer itself if the odometer is ticking. If the needle is stuck from a bit of grease or something that can cause it to stay at 0. Or a cracked solder joint in the speedometer can do it too.
    • Thanks Fella’s   to take this off topic and to elaborate a bit more. I have an rb25/30 going into a r32 GTST.. expected to make around 600-700hp. Would you?   A) R34 GTT box   B) CD00#?  I’ve seen a few posts about the CD swap and sounds fairly involved with making it fit etc but if it’s worth the work then I’ll go that way
    • Lower at the hubs. Funny I forgot to mention that part. Do this pull here I turned the camera off too soon but the graph shows a drop at the top and that was because the pipe from the turbo blew off. The tuner said we could’ve made possibly another 15 whp. He also added if I switched to ethanol we could up the boost some more as well. I was comfortable capping it at the most of 20 pounds. Turns out the turbo pipe just needed a new worm clamp. Got home replaced that then did a third gear pull from 3k to 7200 rpm and the power was great to the top. I just got an ecu mounting bracket from IEE that I need to try and get everything to fit well. It’s a PITA to get the harness and ecu fit properly behind that kick plate
    • He means "as opposed to mechanical cable drive". Older cars (R32 for ex.) had cable drive. Later cars with essentially the same gearbox, ie R34 GT (NA RB25) used essentially the same box as the R32 GTSt, but instead of a cable drive, had an electronic speed sender plugged into the same hole in the box, running from the same little gear that would have run the cable. Some of the shittier later cars use a speed sender on the nose of the diff, or the ABS sensors.
    • Lower than engine, or lower than it should at the hubs? Either way, that is a nice power figure and I'm not surprised you say it rips now. What stopped you from turning it up any more? Injectors? Or did it just stop responding to boost?
