i went for a hills run last night in the 31 with the roads very slippery.....was much fun. Had to bed in the bottom end bearings so yea..took it for a strap.

Dam straight Damo would rather do SAU them heroin gts4 are 4.1 because they share the same parts from the gtr i think r32 gtst is 4.3 because of the lack of torque from the rb20

this is your typical SAU wasteland reply to a serious news issue:

The Hells Angels had ice cream. The comancheros got the shits because they didnt. The Banditos were heaps pissed because no one had told them about ice cream to start with.

Some one had a gun, some claret was spilt and no one got any f**king ice cream.

Pete, I've noticed you've been using the word "OT" to mean both On-Topic... AND... Off-Topic in various sentences. Reading along and then come up to "OT" and need to pause for a sec to see if in that certain sentence it means On-Topic or Off-Topic. :D

haha, sorry Vu, in my case it definitely meant working over-time but yeah I'm just being lazy as I always thought it referred to being On Topic........will have to type more next time.

I have an amusing pic a friend took of me during a crash at Mallala. There is nothing more funny than a crashed rider not in control of the camera moment :)

Mick Doohan's advice on what to do when in a crash on the track: "Just go all floppy!" :D

How about an SAU meet at the Tap Inn one night ... then head upstairs to the driving range.

Always good for a laugh. :D

That's not really golf, hitting balls in an indoor range. I think you have to hit balls first because the last time I was there they didn't let us after a few drinks..... We were intoxicated somewhat I though!

I went there for a mate's birthday. We weren't smashed, but we were far from sober, and had no probs.

Besides, smashing golf balls like Happy Gilmore is all I can do :D

      I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'

      D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.

      KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.

      Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
