hey guys ive just discovered that the head gasket is blown on my r33 and ill HOPEFULLY get the issue sorted this week. im just wondering what power the stock gasket is good to handle. my goal is 300rwkw and ive been offered a brand new stock gasket for a good price. but if the stocker is no good for 300 i might aswell just spend the extra money now and save myself the bs later. if the stocker is no good to handle this power could somebody possibly give me some specs of the gasket that i would need or even a good supplier. cheers,

Mark

i would stick to the stocker. it should be ok for 300 or close enough to that. i wouldnt be puttin a cosmetic 1 on yet until the power is there. it will affect the performance of the car.

when u do acheive 300rwkw u can use a 1.2mm tomei gasket

Im trying to decide if its worthwhile doing the head gasket on my car at the moment. If I was to replace it, it would be with a standard one I think. I am to make just under 300kw with the car so if anyone can suggest a better gasket then please do.

Also, you need to replace the head studs when doing this yes? What should I use other than genuine nissan? Or should I just go genuine?

Cheers

just fit a tomei 1.5 mm to mine

didnt end up sealing properly so Im having to do it all again after a week

Im probably going a 1.2mm this time round not that the 1.5mm

didnt feel like crap as I was told it would just the 25 felt a little more like a 20 lol
