just out of interested, how do places like nengun or greeline ship items which can be easily damaged?

do they just pack it normally or do they add bubblewrap, newspaper and write on the box that it is fragile ?

Edited by [Michael]

my intercooler kit came bubble wrapped, yet still got damaged. the intercooler piping has rub on the core causing the fins to bend. mo about the way it was packed rather than the type of packing i think.

oh well.

it's a mircale....my rims arrived.

a lot of people are saying they have ordered parts and never had a problem. i was the same for my first 6 or 7 orders.....all went pretty smoothly. this last order for my rims has jerked me around that much that i'll never deal with them again. i imagine if you guys had your wheels delayed for the best part of 5 months - you'd be pretty annoyed too.

i had excuses like, "the supplier skipped town" to "they're leaving in the next shipment" which turned out to be a flat out lie. but the best one was "the paint is drying on the rims, it takes some time". if they hired someone with some communication skills and a bit of sympathy for their customers, maybe i would reconsider using them.

what to see all the delay messages i got.....

Your order has been shipped, please login to the website and view the order in 'My Orders' for tracking information.

Please note, tracking information will not be available until the order has left Japan, expect this to take a couple of days.

We are very sorry for the delay, one or some of your parts are on backorder with our suppliers. Due to the specialized nature of many parts, these parts are often made to order. If you have any concerns regarding payment or Paypal please ensure you contact us first via email to [email protected].

Thankyou, your payment has been received, we are now processing your order.

You will be issued with your EMS tracking number, just before the parts are sent. EMS tracking is only activated once the parts are in the air, therefore it is confusing and causes unnecessary concern should the EMS number be issued earlier.

Your order has been confirmed and a shipment estimate provided. Your payment is required to continue processing of the order. The provided shipment estimate is valid for 2 working days after order confirmation.

Occassionally, there are delays due to circumstances out of our control, we will contact you should any unexpected delay occur. A number of products are made only by request and will take longer to supply. Likewise, Japan has a number of festivals and holidays in which suppliers are unavailable.

At times, especially if this is your first experience ordering internationally, you may be overly concerned regarding the status of your order. Please be assurred that there are physical people behind the scenes processing your orders and answering your enquiries. Nengun Performance has been operating for over 5 years and we here for the long-term.

We can promise you this, you will always receive your parts. ALWAYS!

i love the last comment.....nissan had time to bring out a new gtr in the time it took for me to receive my rims

    • When you crank your car, and hit it with a timing light, can you see a steady crank timing?
    • Oh, forgot to add, A few months ago I was getting mixture codes and the car was using crap loads of fuel. You could smell the unburned fuel in the exhaust, it was crazy strong. Economy was over 17.5 l/100 and usually around 19. I smoked the engine and found a leaky CCV hose which I replaced and then I replaced my two pre cat O2 sensors, I also replaced the MAF. This fixed my mixture codes and improved my exonomy but I'm still 14 - 15 l/100 when pottering about town so something is still amiss. Throttle response is much better and it has more pep but I'd like to know why it's still so thirsty (and I'm hoping that whatever it is gives me a bit more poke).
    • Car is on factory injectors/z32 maf/ q45 throttle body/ z32 ecu with nistune
    • Hello all, currently finishing up a rb25 swap into my s14. Having issues with starting, car has spark (confirmed by pulling a plug and watching it spark), has fuel(confirmed by checking pulse/voltage at injectors all spark plugs are soaked in fuel). Car cranks over and pops into the exhaust with a heavy fuel smell but no attempt to start or run, I have torn the timing cover off and triple confirmed timing, turned the CAS in multiple spots both directions, attempted to start with coolant temp and maf unplugged, checked my fuel lines and made sure they weren’t backwards, checked voltage at cas/injectors/coilpacks, made sure all the grounds in the harness are connected and added a few grounding straps (1 from chassis to block, 1 from chassis to head, and 1 from chassis to igniter chip) I am getting stumped here. As a last ditch effort I made a full grounding harness tonight that’s going to run from the battery and add an extra ground from the battery onto the coil pack harness/igniter chip/ intake manifold/ Wiring specialties harness ground/ and alternator. I’m hoping maybe the grounding harness will fix it here but posting here to see if anyone has any other ideas on what else I can check. My fuel pressure is unknown right gauge will be here tomorrow.  IMG_3206.mov
