Well, as usual I finished work in the morning, well, was at my shop playing games more like til morning, on the way home saw lots ppl literally 'camped' at the side of the road, I was like, hmm, wtf? got into bed at around 8AM. Anyways, when I just about to travel to my dreamland, next thing what you know, I started to hear screams, kids screams, I was like wtf, but anyways cbf getting up cuz I'm simply too tired, and the noise just gets louder and louDER and LOUDER!!! I got woked up atleast 30 times by the sound of screams + speaker + air horn etc (during that 3 hours of sleep). Eventually I couldn't sleep anymore at around 11:30AM, got up, asked her wtf is going on outside, and my gf said, oh! the christmas parade just finished, you may go back to sleep now I am like WTF @$%*#^*%^!&!!! Couldn't sleep til like 2PM!! I will never ever sleep over at gf's house @ that adelaide tower crap on 10th of November!!!!

Next time I will prepare a bucket of ice cold water and pour it outside from upstairs for you lil screaming kids!! COOL YOU ALL DOWN!!

LOL feel for the kids im sure wen u were young u wanted to go to the pagent ahaha

I do feel for the kids, but why do they have to scream like they are getting bum raped or scream like they are being slaughtered by a murderer?! geez, the way those kids screams are terrible (high pitch scream OMGGGGG)!!!

LOL thus why i DONT want kids :(

Anyone watch or go to the pageant by the way? My sister was in it, dancing. She stopped along the route with a police officer to revive a guy that had passed out, possible heart attack. Pretty damn proud of her for that!

well i was at the pageant with my son and my sisters kids, thee is no need to get abusive pal...............

im sure if you had kids your attitude would change.

the pageant was advertised for months, its your poor judgement and ignorance to why you did not sleep, dont blame the 1000's of excited happy kids.

its people like you posting this stuff why these forums are getting worse, feel free to post your opinion and have your say, but remember you are always going to piss someone off regardless.

i think this thread should be deleted, its abusive, disrespectfull, people like you that give me the shits

where is your christmas spirit..................

prolly passed out from so much screaming

and trick i agree but don't think the thread should be deleted but if it begins a flame war then it needs locking

i didn't get the chance to take my daughter this year as she was with her mum

ahahahha....thats the funniest shit ....... but i understand how u feel.....just throw a fake santa from the roof top, make it seem that santas parachute didnt open and hence he died on impact....and watch the little fckers cry. No more santa = no more xmas parade.

Hey trick, first thing, I apologize for anything that I've said previously if I have already offended you or your family members, and I totally understand and agree with you.....

However, I am not aiming at your family, or every other families, but it's the ones that simply "can't control" their kids families, allowing them to scream in such high pitch voice non-stop. Put this way, when you were little, if you scream continuously in public, wouldn't your parents tell you off? same for those families who should control their kids a bit and dont just let them do all the crazy screaming, I mean, it's ok to yell like "YEAH! ROAR! (even air horn etc)" but with those "ahhhhhhhhhh + high pitch" it's simply not neccessary....

Also, I am not the only one who sleeps in daytime due to my work, there are prolly few hundreds of residents like me lives around the area that works til morning, it's not like I dont wanna sleep at night, it's becuz I can't.....

I hope this clears out the misunderstanding between you and me :(

it;s few hours on one DAY OF THE YEAR deal with it . it.s been going 75 yrs and if the kids want to scream with enjoment the whole time its on good luck to them . your just a me me me person ya selfish prick

So you think you got it bad.... the missus and 2yr old got all ready nice and early to go to her first pageant. Nice and early for us is 7.30ish. By the time we found a car park it was like 8am. Walked 20so mins to find a spot that was less then 5 deep. The pageant started at 9.30am mind you. Anyway, found a spot, staked our claim, waited and waited in the sun. Little one sitting on my shoulders the whole time (sore...!) and lo and behold, the first float comes by... with clowns... the little one HATES clowns... with a passion. The End. She would not have a bar of it and stayed in her push chair covering her eyes for the next hour whilst we relayed to her what float was coming by. She did see santa at the end though.

And to top it all off, when we got home, we turn on the tv and she loved watching it on the tv! arggghhhh......

funny !! lmao

but thats the norm tho, hey :(

but fact is, yes as a parent you have to keep in control for sure (re: unrepressed screaming), but the kids will use their voice, without doubt........... Santa has that effect on 'em

im not a parent but i grew up with a much younger brother and i tell you its f*kn hard to stop kids from screaming...the parents aren't to blame, its an event for kids ffs....kids scream, shout, clap, dribble and all sorts of shit when they get excited....its part of life....deal with it. hardly worth starting a thread.

    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
    • Does that German restaurant still exist in the old place out the NW end of Goulburn? When I say "out the NW end of"...I am really being vague. It was 1997 when I was last there, and the only point of reference I can recall is that it was on the opposite side of the main drag from the big merino. And when I say "opposite side of the main drag", I don't mean "on the main drag". It was either a couple of streets back from there, or might have even been out in the sticks a bit further. Was an old farm building or mill or somesuch. And when I say "the big merino" I might actually be thinking of a completely different part of town, because I just looked on maps and the big bugger is not where I remembered him to be! The food was good, consisting largely of various German mystery-meat sausage/loaf things and kartofflen.
    • So while the second sentence is completely correct and the whole point of the conversation, the first sentence bears consideration. If this bloke is just hoping to throw big turbos on and drive it around, because there are no helpful facilities at all in his tropical paradise** then he likely has zero chance of even knowing what the TP is on the last column in the stock maps, let alone know whether the ECU is operating anywhere near it or past it. So the point is very very moot. And, per what I said before, at stock boost on those turbos, you may well be off the end of the map. **I'm just back from Vanuatu, so I know exactly what small Pacific nations can be like wrt paradise without requisite facilities. But it's not even that simple. I put a high flow on my car and had to drive it around with a proper tune because of the lack of opportunity*** to put the bigger AFM and injectors into it to allow it to be tuned. I had to turn the boost down to less than I had before, and back off the boost controller's ramp, because it was exploring parts of the map that it didn't drive in before, and really couldn't access for tuning on the dyno either, and so was pinging. It was still well within the last column, because when I first**** set up the Nistune on the Neo I rescaled all axes of the maps to give some more space to explore. ***Family dyno was broken ****This was 13 years ago, and the TIM thing wasn't a thing then and so TP would definitely grow when pushing past the stock tune's limits.
    • Yep, this bit another local owner. I caught it before putting the transmission back into the car, what I noticed was the pressure plate fingers weren't flat and even. It's more obvious with the pull style clutch because the throwout bearing ring was visibly not flat once everything is put together. Nismo should really update their instructions to call out this specific detail. I'm not even sure the clutch as-shipped orients everything properly.
